Eden Resort

This is by far the best hotel experience we've gotten in an all inclusive family holiday. The staffs are exceptional from kitchen to reception and entertainment. They are always looking to help while not also being in your way or disturbing you in anyway. We will definitely be back. The food is very good. Different theme every night. Same with the night entertainment.

Let’s start with the ant infestation everywhere around the hotel. Back porch is full of them you can’t even sit out there, I brought a cocktail back to my room and woke up to a colony on the dining room table. They have ant posters in the rooms telling you about the problem. (Something you aren’t told before you go). Oh and the hotel mascot is an ant which is weird.

We killed a few baby cockroaches so asked to change apartments, was greeted by toenails on the bed (wasn’t cleaned after the previous guests). Was then welcomed by what I can only describe as the baby cockroaches mother, my wife and kids were screaming which alerted me. We told the front desk numerous times to which you’re told, “the hotel is surrounded by nature”. No, they have rotten wood and damp, hence the pest problem.

We took our concerns to one of the general managers who told us they have no other spare rooms and to contact loveholidays, they will confirm our concerns to loveholidays and get us moved to a new hotel. We received an email from loveholidays saying that Eden told them we are deciding to leave on our own accord so they won’t be finding us new accommodation.

I had to pay an extra £1500 on another hotel in another part of the Algarve to save the other 4 days of our family holiday. Eden is disgusting.

And I hadn’t even mentioned the leaking aircon unit dripping on me during meals and the flies landing on all the food.

For nearly £6000 this is place is shameful. Never again
