Best Birthday Holiday Ever
This was our second visit to Aqua Pedra Dos Bicos Hotel for ten days, highly recommend this hotel. Stayed bed and breakfast which is quite adequate. We dined out at local restaurants of an evening. You can also dine at the hotel but we just didn’t get time. Breakfast buffet the best, hot and cold options, fruit, cereal, pastries, yoghurt, toast. Endless choices. Replenished constantly by super efficient staff. Plenty of tables to sit at and absolutely no rush to vacate. Enjoy your coffee and a sneaky pastry afterwards. Lunch by the pool one day was pleasant, used our eco vouchers which was a bonus. This time we had a room on the third floor with great view over the Quinta and a fabulous sunrise. Our housekeeper Rosa was exceptional, so friendly and attentive to detail. Pool is small and reasonably quiet with plenty of sun beds, parasols. The sun worshippers out there of course all day and before breakfast…. We found the local beaches more comfortable with a sea breeze. Uber is a reasonable price to Santa Eulalia Beach or the Old Town Albufeira. Back to the Hotel, robes, slippers, safe provided, super comfy bed, the best sleep ever. Note this time we visited you only get water and coffee pods on first night. Coffee pods can be purchased at local supermarket. We have never had any issues drinking the tap water, but bottled water available at supermarket too. Such a surprise when on my birthday afternoon a special note, bubby and cake was delivered to our room, reduced me to tears it was so heartfelt and lovely. Words can’t express how special that made my day, thank you so so much. Can’t wait to visit our Happy Place soon xx

Absolutely appalled by the way we were treated.
Around an hour after checking out, while waiting for our airport transfer, we were called back to reception and accused of breaking the TV in our room. We were completely shocked because we did not break it. I asked to see the TV in the room, but I was refused entry and told it had already been removed, despite us only checking out around an hour earlier.
The TV was then brought into reception with obvious external damage. We repeatedly told the staff and the hotel manager that none of us had broken it. There were four of us, none of us had been drinking, and we had to make it absolutely clear countless times that we did not damage the TV. It felt like we were being pressured into accepting responsibility for something we hadn’t done.
We were told to pay almost €600 or the police would be called. Our transfer to the airport was waiting outside, so as four young people in a foreign country, we felt we had no choice but to pay to avoid missing our flight.
Jet2 were no help whatsoever despite us contacting them while it was happening.
The whole experience felt extremely unfair and completely ruined the end of our holiday. I would strongly suggest you rethink about going to this hotel if you’ve booked it!
Great experience
Our stay here was amazing. Staff very polite and all ready to help with everything. The hotel is very clean and the pool as well. The breakfast has a large variety to choose from and the area is also quite. We were close to the main Albufeira strip and as well as Old Town. Everything else is very close with an uber. The rooms are very spacious and they have everything you need. We wee very pleased with the atmosphere and the services. I recommend it, you get your money’s worth.
Brilliant holiday experience
We had an amazing holiday at Aqua Pedra dos Bicos. We stayed 10 days in total (end of July to start of Aug) and are leaving totally relaxed.
From start to finish, all staff were friendly and attentive. The standard of service is consistent and professional. Staff are keen to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel is modern, clean and stylish.
Our room was a great size. We paid slightly more than basic and had a stunning view of the sea from our balcony. Air con, comfortable beds and quiet rooms meant we slept well.
Location is great with Albufeira only a short bus journey. The pretty Oura beach is a 5 minute walk. We also explored other stunning beaches nearby using Uber which is reasonably priced (Praia Falesia as an example). The hotel is about 10mins from The Strip but you don’t hear or feel it when you’re at the hotel. The atmosphere is relaxed and sophisticated from our experience.
The stand out experience for us was the food! We had half board with daily breakfast/ dinner. The quality and range of options was excellent. Delicious starter, main and dessert options for every dinner. It’s buffet style but feels like restaurant quality. Waiters are very polite and the whole set up is very well run and relaxing. We planned to eat out for our wedding anniversary but the food was so good we went to the hotel again!

Lovely hotel in an excellent location
We spent 4 nights at this hotel with our 3 x adult children and we found the hotel extremely clean, room sizes was perfect for us and the staff were all very riendly and attentive to our needs. The location is excellent for getting about to local beaches and bars. We loved Old Town and walked it in 40 mins but uber costs 5 euros and only 10 mins in car. Never had an issue with sun beds by the pool as there are plenty. Pool isn't massive but still a good size to cool down in and it was never too busy which is probably due to being an adults only hotel. My only mention would be the choice of music played by the pool. It was ok to listen to on the first day as they play relaxing, chilled tracks but their play list is very repetitive so a change would have been welcomed. . But, this is only my opinion and not a negative as the hotel really is lovely and the pool bar have reasonable priced foods. The pizza was just the best.
