Looking for a relaxed stay?
The appartment was spacious and clean. The view from the balcony was nice (seeing the pool and the ocean.) The buffet,morning and evening,was really good. You would expect a lot of people because the resort is really big(like: you can use all the other pools from the resorts(village,colina) for free..but it does'nt feel like that! The pool and surroundings are clean and green with a lot of trees and flowers. It's a short walk to the beach, with stairs.
If you want to go shopping or walk in the evening..there is not so much in the neighbourhood. You have to take the taxi. But there is a supermarket across the road or on the park.

Fab holiday
Just returned from a fantastic stay at the Alfagar. We stayed in self catering in the Prestige Apartments. Lovely clean, modern apartment. Large balcony with sea view. Helpful and friendly staff. Lovely surroundings. Lots of pools to choose from. Always able to get a sun bed and no claiming sun beds from early morning! Would highly recommend for a family holiday!

Fab for families entertainment team are brilliant!! Our boys favorite football coach was Helio!! 👏🏻👏🏻⚽️⚽️ even surprised to see him singing at the karaoke - Talent all though they prefer him at football 🤣
Lovely week away to Albufeira - will definitely return
Really enjoyed our week self-catering at this resort as a family. Weather was really good which helped but I’d definitely return to this place in the future. As a decent sized resort this place has around 11 pools which meant there were always plenty of loungers and space to enjoy them. A nice football pitch, tennis courts and a decent gym meant that you didn’t have to spend all day every day by the pool as enjoyable as that is! Alfagar has a few decent eating options, a nice pool bar and is only a short uber ride ( around £5) to Albufeira old town which is lovely and has some great places including Ambrosio which I’d recommend. We didn’t head to the strip as our daughters are only 9 and 11. We went parasailing one day down at the marina which was great fun too.. All in all a great week away.
