Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We have brought bed bugs home after staying there a week. Something was biting us at nighttime but because we had no experience with bed bugs before, we thought these are just some insects. Horrible stuff! Hotel in it’s own is okay, just bare in mind you need to pay for your drinks at the dinner.
Cannot recommend enough....Leo was fantastic at keeping everyone entertained

Joana amd ronaldo were absolutely amazing with the kids. They are both unreal each child felt so included and welcomed and for the week not just once for the whole week. They would be the reason we would come back.
We had a situation in the early hours of 18th September when my son became unwell, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for better support from the staff at Alfagar.
Miguel in particular went above and beyond. Rather than simply signposting us somewhere, he took the time to call hospitals, taxis and pharmacies to make sure we could get the right care for my son. I’ve stayed in five-star hotels where you wouldn’t necessarily receive that level of help, and his efforts during a stressful situation meant a great deal to me.
What impressed me even more was that the following day, another member of staff called to check how my son was doing. There was no obligation to do that; it was simply an act of genuine kindness and concern.
All of the staff we’ve encountered have been friendly and the food has been good, but I probably wouldn’t have thought to leave a review were it not for what happened that night. Situations like this show the true character of a hotel and its staff, and Miguel and the wider team showed themselves to be exceptionally caring and helpful when it really mattered.
Na madrugada do dia 18 de setembro, o meu filho ficou doente e, sinceramente, não poderia ter pedido melhor apoio por parte da equipa do Alfagar.
Em particular, o Miguel foi muito além do que seria de esperar. Em vez de simplesmente nos indicar onde deveríamos ir, dedicou o seu tempo a contactar hospitais, táxis e farmácias para garantir que o meu filho recebia os cuidados adequados. Já fiquei alojado em hotéis de cinco estrelas onde não se recebe necessariamente este nível de atenção, e a ajuda do Miguel fez uma enorme diferença num momento bastante stressante.
O que me impressionou ainda mais foi que, no dia seguinte, outro membro da equipa me telefonou para saber como estava o meu filho. Não tinham qualquer obrigação de o fazer; foi simplesmente um gesto genuíno de preocupação, simpatia e humanidade.
Todos os funcionários com quem tivemos contacto foram simpáticos e a comida tem sido boa, mas provavelmente não teria pensado em deixar uma avaliação se não fosse pelo que aconteceu naquela noite. São situações como esta que mostram o verdadeiro carácter de um hotel e da sua equipa, e o Miguel e os restantes funcionários demonstraram ser excecionalmente atenciosos e prestáveis quando realmente foi necessário.
