ln the picturesque village of Olhos de Água (Albufeira), a traditional fishing village that perfectly combines calm and tradition with all the needed comfort and facilities, you will find the perfect place for an amazing carefree holiday on an All Inclusive basis. Explored until 2021 by another hotel group, it reopened in April 2022 under the 3HB Hotels brand – now as 3HB Guaraná! Surrounded by some of the most beautiful beaches of the Algarve, it will be difficult to choose between a day at the beach, in one of the two outdoor pools or in the heated indoor pool. There is also a children's pool exclusively for the little ones of the family! A varied gastronomic offer with 3 different restaurants, pool bar, swim-up bar, lounge bar and snacks will delight everyone. But as All Inclusive also means lots of fun, services and activities, we also have to highlight the complete entertainment programme, SPA, gym, multipurpose court, kids club and playground, Disco-bar and free Wi-fi in the rooms and common areas.
This hotel is amazing, i cannot fault it ,my friend and I have been here for 10 days ,the food is great plenty of choice plus 3 restaurants to choose from ,our bedroom was cleaned every day plus clean towels ,there are plenty of sunbeds around the 2 pools so no worries there ,the entertainment team are very good as are all the staff ,I would not hesitate to come here again ,the only down side is Faro airport the queues are horrendous they really need to sort it out A.S.A.P. ,we leave tomorrow so fingers crossed its a smooth departure.
Where to start. Okay firstly it's the flies they are everywhere outside around the enclosed hotel pool areas, making it impossible to relax poolside! Next this is advertised as a family friendly hotel, well in all honesty that's all it is, if you smoke or don't like smoking and prefer to vape then there is one place you can do either crammed into one with 6 tables with chairs, that's it and nowhere else!. Next the buffet is mediocre at best and you have to queue to get in before giving your room number to one of the staff who step into your way demanding you answer before entering! There is a poolside buffet that offers burgers and chips ect but you will be told to leave if not wearing a t-shirt. Next there are plenty of sunbeds but just make sure you don't get a broken one as there are also plenty of these. Final thoughts as I sit here being pestered by flies, this is absolutely not a four star hotel it's a three! Hope I've covered most of the negatives but feel they are what can spoil a hard earned holiday!!
Lovely hotel. Clean and good food. Only thing I am disappointed with is that the entertainment is repeated exactly after one week. It seems they only expect people to be here 7 days. Other than that it is a lovely hotel. Friendly helpful staff.
Nice location, not too far from the airport and really close to the beach. Very relaxed environment, and there's no rush for sun loungers, which is great. The room is pretty standard. No complaints about cleanliness either. The entertainment team during the day are great, but the evening entertainment is disappointing. The food is nice too, but be aware that you can't take food by the pool. And inflatables aren't allowed, except for kids ones I believe.
Wow, what a hotel. We had a great holiday! The hotel, inside and out is absolutely spotless. I've never been to such a clean hotel. The food (and drinks!) were great. The choice of restaurants/snack bars were fab. Transfer to and from the airport were good, roughly half hour. We went in to Old Town Albufeira which was lovely and only $8 in an uber, each way. The entertainment team were amazing with my 3 year old daughter, getting her involved in pool games, the magic carpet being her favourite! We don't like to re-visit places on holiday as we want to explore different locations however I think we will break the rule on this and return as it was our favourite holiday yet. If you are wondering whether to book this hotel- you won't regret it :-) serious holiday blues being home today!
