This hotel is just 100 m from the Praia da Oura Beach in Albufeira, one of the best beaches in the Algarve, and within walking distance of the nightlife area, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. Links to the public transport network are in the immediate vicinity and the bus station and railway station are about 2 and 6.5 km away respectively. Faro Airport is approximately 40 km away. This is a complex of 54 apartments with spacious balconies, some of which offer magnificent views of the sea. Guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoor swimming pool surrounded by a deck with sun beds. Meanwhile, fans of the fairway can head to the nearest golf course, which is 30 minutes' drive from the hotel. Active guests can also rent bicycles at reception to explore the area.

A gem of a hotel
3hb Golden Beach is a lovely hotel. The rooms and grounds are immaculate. Our room was really spacious and the kitchen is very well equipped. The pool towels and water bottles are a really lovely touch. The staff can’t do enough for you and a special mention to Anna on reception who is the kindest and smiliest host. The cleaners accidentally sent some clothes to the cleaners with the bedding and she went over and above to visit the laundry to retrieve them when they said they couldn’t find them. The pool bar is really reasonably priced and yummy food. Nothing fancy but great toasties, sandwiches and salads. The pool is a little small and the beds are limited. It isn’t helped when selfish Brits put towels down early and don’t appear until after lunch. I would lose the kids splash pool and put more beds there as it was never used. We just headed to the beach if beds were all taken but that only happened once. The location is great for the beach and the strip but as a family with a young teen we did very well to avoid it and I’d head to the St Euelia area if you want a more chilled vibe. The strip is ok with kids before 11.30pm but we never ate or drank there - it looked awful. Nearby restaurant gems are Neto, Cepa Velha and Cozy corner cafe for brunch. We don’t like “English food” so if you like good local food and fish try O Lusitano, Double D for tapas and Omanjar in Old Town is exceptional. I would 100% return to this hotel but I’m not sure if return to Albufeira as it is over ran with 18-21 year olds or stays/hens which was unpleasant with a young family. Final tip - the algar experience boat and brunch trip to the Benagil caves was exceptional and the highlight of our holiday.

Great place to stay
This was a great location with a beautiful view. We were celebrating a special occasion and this hotel gifted us with complimentary sparkling wine to celebrate. The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. They even have a communal bathroom in the lobby that comes in handy when leaving the beach or after checking out. The parking is challenging unless you pay for parking on site however if you’re strategic you can score great parking at no cost. We lived our stay the room was spacious and clean.
Perfect hotel
The perfect hotel in the perfect location. Pool area is small but it is all you need! Great pool bar with snacks and drinks. Rooms are fantastic and spotless!! Lovely hotel and will def return.

Fabulous stay with friends
We spent 4 nights at the Golden beach, what an amazing place it was. We arrived at 1pm , our room was ready for us and we were upgraded to a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom deluxe with full sea view! The views were amazing, it was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, the rooms were cleaned everyday and fresh towels provided if we needed them. The free beach towel service was very convenient, and the complimentary beach bag with milk, biscuits, crackers and reusable water bottles was a lovely touch. The pool area was lovely and we had no issues getting a sun lounger, the little bar was great for lunch and a frozen daiquiri or two! The ladies on reception were incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The location was great for us, 2 minute walk to the beach and to the Tuktuks to take you into old town for 10 euros. The strip was a 10 minute walk up the hill, there was a bakery and supermarket a couple of minutes walk too. We throughly enjoyed our stay at the Golden Beach and will definitely be booking again :)
Simply stunning!
June holiday to the Algarve and this hotel is perfection. Every area is immaculate and all of the team are so welcoming and friendly. The water bottles and little beach bag are such a nice gesture, nothing worse then lugging around water bottles so having the water foundtain was so lovely!
The views from the balcony were stunning, perfect and quiet lovely to sit out on and have your brekafast and of course, get ready for the evening!
Pool area and grounds are so well kept, saw an employee checking the pool water each day, life guard on duty the whole day. Plenty beds to go round, no issue with people ‘reserving’ them which was so refreshing to see.
The poolside bar was brill! The two staff running it were so lovely. The food was amazing, salads, toasties etc. Cocktials were amazing and great value, same goes for he beer.
Don’t be scared by the sofa beds, they were the comfiest beds I have slept on. Fresh towels daily, room turned over etc, also they offer beach and pool towels if you ask at the reception.
The gym area, for no added cost, was great. A multifunctional trainer, 3 cardio machines, a small weights area and pull up bar. Perfect for a holiday. Even has its own AC unit.
Honestly no faults at all, it’s a great location, quiet, beautifully kept and maintained and the staff are all fantastic.
My only request… a mirror in the living area or hallway would be great and super helpful for getting ready.
