We have just returned from a 5 night stay at the Embassy. What a delightful break it proved to be. Superb in every way.
From the moment Reece greeted us on check in with a glass of Prosecco and a smile, up to leaving this morning, we received first class service throughout.
The Location could not have been better, 4 to 6 minutes walk to all the major attractions. The staff were extremely helpful with advising on local sightseeing, restaurants , bars , and outings.
The Atmosphere was one of relaxation and great service from all the staff. We were even escorted by Abbey to a nearby restaurant one evening !
Rooms were spotless and a mini bar stocked for our arrival. Very comfortable bed and facilities.
Breakfast was superb with views of Malta from the rooftop restaurant, nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
We enjoyed the roof top pool and sun beds, the staff handing out free cooling watermelon in the afternoon as we soaked up the rays. There is even a cinema for guests in the basement.
5 star service and facilities
We will be back
Thank you everyone

We stayed at the Embassy hotel for four nights. It is well placed in the centre of the city to visit the main attractions, and is well served by local restaurants and bars within walking distance. The room was comfortable and nicely designed in an elevated contemporary style. The rooftop restaurant serves a decent breakfast, with excellent views of the city. The pool area is pretty cramped, without much shade. This is problematic if you are using the space in the summer during the late afternoon, as we were. It had wonderful views, but the small pool easily felt quite crowded, particularly when families were using it, which really reduced the luxury feel promised in the photos. Valetta has become a bit of a party-capital in recent years. If you plan to go to sleep before 11pm, then we would highly recommend getting a room with a courtyard view. There are several local bars that play very loud music on the street below until late, particularly on Friday, Saturday and even Sunday nights.
Lovely moden hotel, clean and ideally situated. Staff friendly and attentive and a very nice breakfast included. Perfect place to stay for a trip to valletta
The Embassy Valletta is a stylish hotel in an excellent central location, but unfortunately our stay didn’t quite live up to expectations, particularly given the price. There are certainly some positives. Our room was spacious, modern and elegantly designed, and well appointed with lovely L’Occitane amenities. The location is fantastic for exploring Valletta, and the views are beautiful. The rooftop restaurant and pool area are particularly impressive, and the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. However, there were a number of issues that really detracted from the experience. There was a strong and constant sewer smell in the lobby, along with visible mould on the hallway walls and around the air-conditioning vents in the lobby. The hallways themselves were not air-conditioned, which was uncomfortable in Malta’s summer heat. There was also no bellboy or assistance offered with luggage, which was surprising for a hotel positioning itself at this level. The pool deck had screws protruding from the decking in places, which felt like an unnecessary safety hazard. The bathroom in our friends room also seemed poorly thought through. The shower flooded the bathroom whenever it was used, and there was visible mould on the ceiling. Another small but frustrating detail was the lack of bottled water in the room. Instead, guests are expected to go to the lift area and fill water from a communal fountain. While I appreciate the environmental reasoning behind this, at this price point I would expect a more convenient solution in the room. Overall, the hotel has a lot going for it—particularly its location, rooms and rooftop—but the maintenance issues and lack of some basic services made it difficult to justify the price. Our stay was okay, but unfortunately I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
Stayed for a week at the Embassy Hotel Valletta. The only positive thing about this hotel is it’s location. The hotel smells very strongly of waste and sewage, They try their best to mask it with very strong perfume but you can still smell it, made us feel sick. The rooms are dark with discoloured old bedding and very uncomfortable beds, we struggled to get a good nights sleep. The shower room was badly designed, every time we used the shower it flooded the bathroom floor and even part of the bedroom. The pool area is very small, squashed next to the dinning room. We didn’t feel comfortable to use it and even if we did there was no space! Dinning room and roof terrace were also very small, we felt like there was not enough room to service the number rod guests staying at the hotel. We could never get a table on the rooftop. Terrible week, very expensive, ruined our visit to Malta!
