Located in the heart of St. Paul's Bay, the Pebbles Resort sets a high standard, claiming its place as one of the trendiest contemporary hotels in its category. Worthy of its 4-star rating, the hotel offers 230 luxurious rooms across five floors, four in-house restaurants with diverse international cuisines, a buffet breakfast room serving continental and full English breakfast options, an outdoor pool with a spacious sunbathing and entertainment area, two bars, an indoor pool, a jacuzzi, a hair and nail salon, and a fully equipped fitness center. Pebbles Resort caters to business travelers, couples, and families alike. This attractive hotel is just a five-minute walk from the sparkling Mediterranean waters of St. Paul's Bay, the seaside promenade, and numerous rocky beaches perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I am extremely disappointed with our experience at this hotel. When we arrived, reception were aware that I was heavily pregnant and had been awake since 6am the previous day. We were told that they would do what they could to get our room ready before the standard 3pm check-in time. Unfortunately, nothing was done to accommodate this, and when we followed up, we were met with an attitude that made us feel as though we were being unreasonable for asking. Given the circumstances, we expected at least some understanding and basic customer care.
We also booked the hotel on a half-board basis, with breakfast and dinner included. However, we were disappointed to discover that even basic soft drinks, including water, have to be paid for separately. This was not something we expected and, in our opinion, should have been made much clearer when booking.
The biggest disappointment, however, has been the indoor pool being closed. This was something I was particularly looking forward to, especially during my pregnancy, and it was one of the facilities we were expecting to be able to use during our stay. What is especially frustrating is that guests were not informed of the closure before or upon arrival. Had we known beforehand, we could have made a different arrangement.
Feel really let down, and not supported by the staff at all.
It was our first holiday together and I couldn’t fault the hotel at all! The food was delicious and the staff was so friendly! Will definitely try and book this again for the future
Lovely hotel,modern rooms,excellent staff very helpful and friendly.indoor and outdoor pool.excellent breakfast.Beware that if you go between June to October this hotel changes to the Name to Bora Bora hotel and is for 18- 30 ,we are well out of that age range.we were not informed by ON THe Beach travel agent about this.High praise to the very excellent staff at this hotel, they were fantastic.Impossible to get a sunbed at the outdoor pool as towels were put on sunbed very early even though no one was there.

Bad points:
We came here on Easyjet package. Reception area is beautifully air conditioned. Our room was ready early when we checked in but after 1st night, realised it was noisy being near the lift and cleaners station. Also noisy guests shouting along corridors at 4 to 5 am! Complained to receptionist the following morning and she was quite rude. Eventually agreed to move us to a nicer room, one of the rooms with a large balcony overlooking the pool. But ended up next door to the room where all the noise was coming from. Security did come up at 11.30pm and the guests (who had clearly invited a whole bunch of people over) went out and thankfully went home the following morning. So that was 2 unsettled nights which is hardly ideal on a 4 night break. Easy walk to the main strip, taking about 10 to 15 mins. We had lunch at the pool on 3 days. Club sandwich and burgers were excellent and very generous portions. Hotel is better suited to younger crowd (and avoid if you don't want to be passive smoker for your holiday). Would I come back? Lots of good points but wouldn't return. Malta isn't our place
We booked this hotel knowing it as Pebbles resort and advertised as a calm and relaxing hotel with a lovely chilled pool to relax by however when we arrived the name had changed to Bora Bora which we wasn’t aware of and also got told this changes to a party hotel during peak summer months which we had no idea about as it never said anything on our booking/was never advertised as that. We was very dissapointed walking in as it was very loud, music blaring and nowhere for us to chill at the pool. On our confirmation it also said the check in was 2pm however when we arrived reception told is that was wrong and it was actually 4pm which we wasnt happy about having to wait all day to check into our room. We will be emailing and hope to get some sort of compensation.
