Hotel was outstanding, super facilities, great in house restaurants & the colleague team always delivered great service with a smile. Stand out colleague was Marika who went above and beyond in the care, attention & service that she delivered every time.
Amazing location away from the huddle and bustle 10 mins walk down the hill to the busiest part plenty of bars and restaurants along the way although we did have some meals in the hotels lovely and well worth the money lovely staff nothing was too much trouble rooms very spacious very clean and modern
We absolutely loved our stay at the Radisson Blu Resort in St. Julian’s. We came to Malta to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and the hotel genuinely made our whole trip feel extra special.
A special thank you to Anitha at the front desk, who was wonderful from the moment we arrived. She surprised us with a beautiful room upgrade, anniversary decorations and a lovely bottle waiting for us. It was such a thoughtful welcome and a wonderful start to our anniversary trip.
But it wasn’t only one person — the entire team was fantastic throughout our stay. From reception and the concierge team to the lovely girl at breakfast who looked after us every morning, everyone we met was genuinely warm, helpful and professional. Unfortunately, we didn’t catch everyone’s names, but the consistently friendly service really stood out.
We absolutely loved our room — beautiful, spacious and comfortable, with a great view. It was exactly the kind of room you want to come back to after a full day exploring Malta and definitely one of the highlights of our stay.
Breakfast was also great, with lots of options. We especially enjoyed the freshly squeezed fruit juices every morning! If I could suggest a few small additions, I would love to see more prepared salad dressings and perhaps some small hot sandwiches, mini pizzas or similar warm bites. There is already a huge variety of products, and some ingredients could perhaps be creatively reused for these options too.
The resort has a beautiful seafront location. There isn’t a traditional beach directly in front of the hotel; access to the sea is via ladders at the corner of the resort. We actually loved this and chose swimming in the sea rather than using the pools.
One useful warning for anyone swimming: my husband accidentally touched some stinging marine growth (likely hydroids) attached to one of the floating buoys and had a very painful skin reaction. We needed to visit a pharmacy, and unfortunately he was in quite a lot of pain for the rest of the day. Of course, this is nature and not something the hotel can control, but it is worth knowing — avoid touching the buoys or any marine growth attached to them.
Overall, the hotel and especially its people made our Malta stay and wedding anniversary truly memorable. Anitha deserves a special mention for the wonderful surprise, but our thanks go to the whole team — reception, concierge, breakfast staff and everyone behind the scenes.

A truly delightful breakfast experience at the Radisson. The buffet offered an excellent variety of fresh, beautifully presented choices, making for a wonderful start to the day.

She made me feel comfortable and genuinely valued as guests. Her friendly attitude, beautiful communication, and attention to detail created a very pleasant and memorable experience.
