This award winning hotel is ideally situated in the heart of St. Julians, facing the beautiful Spinola Bay and surrounded by a picturesque scenery, ideal for a romantic getaway. Travellers can find many restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity and there is a bus stop just in front of the hotel, offering easy access to the rest of the island. The establishment consists of an elegant old townhouse with a tasteful interior design and a rooftop swimming pool where guests can enjoy a stunning view over the bay. The rooms are very spacious and present a fresh Mediterranean decoration with plenty of natural daylight. Standard facilities include a flat-screen TV with DVD player, a minibar and free Wi-Fi. Visitors may enjoy a delicious varied menu in the on-site restaurant, which offers a combination of Asian and Continental cuisine in a cosy ambiance. Breakfast is also available with a fine selection of regional products to start the day full of energy.
Really well run hotel on Spinola Bay. We stayed for 2 weeks and had a junior suite overlooking the bay. It was spacious and modern. Although in the centre of town and the World Cup was in progress there was little noise from the street. The top level pool area has a bar serving Asian snacks and sun loungers. There's not a lot of shade and the pool itself is small. The pool was fine for a quick dip but not for serious swimming. Breakfast was included in our package and was excellent. It was a buffet style with egg dishes available on demand. All the hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. We also ate in the restaurant once - food was good and similar in price to restaurants nearby. Location wise it's excellent. I wouldn't recommend a car but local transport or Uber/Bolt is on your doorstep. There's a pleasant walk along the front to Sliema which takes about 30 minutes. If it's too hot then the bus back is an easy option. Probably not the best choice for families as the area is really geared towards eating, drinking and relaxing. Lots of nice sea swimming but minimal sandy beaches. Would definitely recommend the hotel for couples.
The hotel is right in Spinola Bay, great location if you like the hustle and bustle of a busy area. It’s a very lovely hotel and inside it’s quite a sanctuary however if you are looking for quiet you will find it noisy on the balconies, in the rooms over looking the bay and in the cafe. It’s directly on a very very busy road and the middle of all the nightlife. The rooms are good. We stayed in a Designer suite. It’s spacious and has a stunning balcony. We had to ask for additional hangers and there are no drawers which is only an issue if you are staying more than a couple of days. Would be nice if there was a dressing table with mirror and plug socket to make getting ready more pleasurable. The food is very good. Breakfast was always consistent. The cafe menu, also available as room service or on the roof terrace was delicious. Roof terrace looks great and if you can get one of the 2 cabanas, it’s really lovely however the hotel said they are not allowed to put parasols on the terrace so there is very little shade. The staff are all very friendly and have a can do attitude with everything.
Gorgeous hotel with great views. Reception staff were lovely, breakfast was lovely. Comfy beds great shower.
Absolutely excellent experience throughout. Breakfast is superb. All staff members went above and beyond.
Attention, this hotel is under construction, a lot of noise from 6 a.m.
