Set against a stunning Mediterranean backdrop, this luxurious hotel is renowned for its five-star amenities and proximity to Malta’s lively nightlife. A perfect blend of relaxation and convenience.
What a fabulous beautiful hotel and fabulous caring staff too Gorgeous rooms and perfect location overlooking a bay whilst also 3 pools with comfy sunbeds and brollys (which where needed ) My husband was ill while we where away The care and hospitality and concern was so good Every day I got asked how my husband was doing , The new lady ( forget her name ) sorry was so professional and also Racheal was very helpful But in the main breakfast restaurant, The lady who really advised, helped me Reshma oh my word (listening to me cry ) This lady definitely needs recognition in her job As do the rest of the staff in this gorgeous hotel Big Thankyou to everyone
We have never been to Malta before, and was a bit underwhelmed by the island. BUT Coninthia St George's bay was fantastic in every possible way. We really enjoyed all of the restaurants, the service at the sun chairs, the breakfast service and the prime location of the hotel. David at the Terrace was magnificent and the four of us enjoyed his company every night before (and sometimes after) dinner. We stayed for a week and had both lunch and dinner most of the days in the resort. Superb! The hotel is clean, the air in the room very good, the AC working very well without blowing directly at the bed (VERY important). The bed itself nice and a bit on the firm side, just as we like it. The proximity to the ocean was also a fantastic feature, and I have never been swimming this much anywhere. The sun chairs next to the water was brilliant :) It was also a short walk from the city centre and we enjoyed the nightlife there as well. The only odd thing about this wonderful resort is that someone had accepted building two high-rise buildings next door. Looks insane - but did not bother us.
We stayed at the Corinthia St George’s Bay as a family, with the main purpose of the trip being to relax and spend time by the pool.
Check-in was straightforward and we were warmly welcomed on arrival. We had booked a Junior Suite with lounge access. The suite was spacious and had a balcony overlooking the pool and bay, which was a lovely view.
The main negative was the condition of the room. It felt dated and in need of renovation. There were a few details that really stood out, including peeling paint around the door and carpets that were not properly laid right to the edges. For a hotel positioned at this level, the room itself did not quite feel like a five-star product.
The lounge was fairly basic but perfectly decent. Cold food was available during the day until around 2:30pm, and from 6pm there were a couple of warm items as well. Soft drinks, wine and sparkling wine were available throughout the day. The staff in the lounge were excellent, and Khushi in particular looked after us extremely well and made us feel very welcome.
Breakfast was okay, with a reasonable variety, although I felt there could have been more warm vegetarian options available.
The pool was definitely the highlight of the stay and where we spent most of our time. It was well maintained, my daughter absolutely loved it, and the poolside service was very good. The bar team regularly came around taking food and drink orders, which made it easy to simply relax and enjoy the day.
The location was also very convenient. St Julian’s is around a 15–20 minute casual walk away, so it was easy enough to head out when we wanted a change of scenery.
Overall, we had a decent and enjoyable stay. From a service point of view, the hotel absolutely delivers a five-star experience, with friendly and attentive staff throughout. However, from a room perspective, it falls short because of how dated the accommodation currently feels.
With renovated rooms, this could be a much stronger five-star hotel.
A beautiful location with an amazingly calm and family friendly atmosphere that has loads of fun things to do. The rooms are spacious, clean and well looked after. Staff are friendly, patying sufficient attention to be there anytime there assistance or support is needed. My family felt looked after and had a lot of fun from swimming in the sea to gym to either indoor pool or outdoor pool. Khushi was exceptional in her care and support. Always with a smile. Maria made our breakfast experience very y personal. We will go again
We visited Corinthia St George’s Bay, Malta, with our family, and had a truly wonderful experience. I would especially like to appreciate Khushi for her kindness, support, and excellent service throughout our stay. Khushi is a genuinely warm, caring, and helpful person. She was always polite, attentive, professional, and ready to assist us whenever we needed anything. She made our family feel very comfortable and welcomed. What stood out the most was her genuine nature and willingness to help. She went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of, and her friendly attitude made our family’s experience even more enjoyable and memorable. Thank you so much, Khushi, for all your help and for doing such a wonderful job. You are truly an asset to the hotel, and your efforts are greatly appreciated. We will definitely remember your kindness and excellent hospitality. ❤️🌸
