Every care has been taken to make the Victoria Hotel spa as enticing and as luxurious as possible. Spread over two floors, its facilities include a freshwater indoor pool and an outdoor pool, as well as sun terraces, saunas, steam room and treatment rooms offering a wide range of holistic wellbeing treatments. You have no excuse not to feel utterly relaxed.
The same attention is given to guest's rooms at the Victoria Hotel. They are all fully air conditioned and come with extensive facilities to help you feel at home, including satellite TV and radio, direct dial phone, tea/coffee making facilities, minibar and Wi-Fi is available at a fee. Rooms are dressed in classic colonial style and all feature en suite bathrooms too. Why not look at upgrading to a balcony room or suite?. Junior and Deluxe Suites include a walk-in shower, all other rooms consist of a bathtub.
Even the restaurant menus are geared to your wellbeing, with a new healthy eating option available.
At the end of the day we do recommend a visit to the intimate Penny Black Bar, to luxuriate in the exquisite armchairs and while away the evening. Perfection!

The Victoria Hotel is a superior 4-star hotel, located in quiet peaceful surroundings, situated in the heart of Sliema and a few minutes walk from the popular and picturesque seafront promenade.
Sliema offers excellent shopping, open air cafeterias, restaurant and bars and is only fifteen minutes drive away from Valletta or accessible by ferry.
we just returned from a stay at this hotel. The reception is very nice and the rooms are good size, comfortable beds and quiet for sleep. I would have to say the breakfast was fine and Charles was a lovely waiter to meet the 1st morning. There is a rooftop bar but wouldnt get too excited as it is around the pool which has no views. The first night I asked for a diet coke and they were going to give me it out of a large cola bottle not a small glass bottle which i couldnt believe?? Alos on our last day we left our passports in the room but our fligt wasnt until 10pm at night. We didnt realise we had left them behind until we were boarding our flight and as a result had to stay an extra night at huge cost. I was very annoyed and surprised that the hotel didnt attempt to call all day long to inform us that we had forgot our passports. Would expect more from a 4 star hotel....When i arrived back to stay for an extra night i was still charged for the room which i thought they could have offered as a good will gesture.
We had such a wonderful experience celebrating with Miraz and his team! From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed, comfortable, and truly taken care of. Miraz was absolutely amazing—attentive, kind, professional, and made our celebration feel extra special.
The entire team provided exceptional service, and you could genuinely feel how much they cared about making sure we had a memorable experience. Everything was handled with such warmth and attention to detail.

Enjoyed our stay here, great facilities - nice roof top bar & pool, plenty of sun loungers. Hotel is connected to sister hotel AX Palace and we had a fabulous meal in Temptasian restaurant Staff were friendly and helpful, special mention to Cristal on reception for who nothing was too much trouble We will definitely stay here again
Pleasant stay in a Classic room with balcony. Room was satisfactory enough. Balcony was a benefit for fresh air. Shower pressure wasn’t too bad. Good pool facilities which are shared with sister hotel 5* AX The Palace next door. Catering is very much towards English guests of which were the majority of people staying at this hotel. Pleasant hotel bar, again very British F&B offerings. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was the standard British breakfast offerings, I was a bit underwhelmed by the selections. Great location. Quiet street and easy to walk to main attractions. Next time I would stay at AX The Palace for a higher standard including the breakfast. Obviously there will be a price difference.
The AX Victoria ticks all boxes .. in no order ..
2 ) Rooms .. huge bed ..great sleep quality.. excellent bathroom with very nice products. 3 ) Rooftop pool and restaurant.. Cool place to relax.. A pool you can actually swim in ! Nice bar offering happy hour 241 from 3 till 5 pm. The Asian eatery is fine dining and will require reservations. 4) Penny Black .. It’s the pub on the ground floor.. Again terrific staff serving very reasonably priced drinks considering. Good pub grub served too . 5 ) Location .. A very short walk downhill to the water, ferries etc.. 6 ) Price .. A much better option than its sister Hotel in my opinion .. cheaper too. All in all , a great stay here .. Highly recommended.
