Choose the Bayview Hotel and you'll enjoy the very best that Sliema has to offer. Set on the bustling promenade, it's the point where old and new Malta meet. Steeped in the history of the area, the Bayview Hotel overlooks the Sliema fortifications and the vibrant Marsamxetto harbour. It also looks out over the capital, Valletta, with its palace and palazzo (dating back to the sixteenth century).
But if it's the best of contemporary Malta that you want, you'll find it here too. The promenade is the hub. Here there are shops, cafés, bars and restaurants, and easy access to the glittering Mediterranean, and a whole host of watersports activities.
To really enjoy your holiday to the full, you need the right location, great facilities and real comfort too; fortunately the Bayview Hotel comes up trumps in all respects.
You may be tempted by a stunning seaview room; they're available for a small supplement. Don't worry if you don't get one – each room has its own balcony – many with wonderful views of their own – and they're the perfect place to sit back in the early morning sun, or enjoy a pre-dinner drink. The twin rooms feature air conditioning (time restricted) as well as direct dial telephone, satellite television, tea/coffee making facilities, and optional safe deposit box. For your added convenience, the Bayview Hotel has a round-the-clock reception service too. There are a range of room updgrades available at a supplement. All rooms feature a walk-in shower.
And that's just the start. As well as there being plenty to do outside the hotel, there's plenty to do inside: there is a fitness room and sauna, outdoor pool and massage available at a fee. For dining, the Tria Restaurant offers a tasty set menu or buffet daily (based on hotel occupancy). Conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the property.
Sliema mixes the best of historic Malta with everything you expect from a smart, contemporary Maltese resort. And the Bayview Hotel, with its host of facilities and its reputation for comfortable living is the smart, contemporary choice.
Conveniently situated a few metres away on the Sliema promenade, the Bayview Hotel & Apartments overlook the picturesque fortifications, the historic buildings of Valletta & the traditional Marsamxett Harbour.
The hotel is within a few metres of Sliema's popular shopping centre, cafes and restaurants, offering a wide variety of entertainment and relaxation.

The bay view hotel was disappointing and hot and uncomfortable we got transferred to this hotel from hotel azur as it was overbooked. We booked a superior room and when we were transferred we were downgraded to standard which was supposedly “the same”. When we got our STANDARD room there was FAINT IF ANY AIR CONDITIONING,there were steps where I stubbed my toe so many times they went numb. The bathroom was so tiny I could barely get to the toilet. The hotel was not what I expected 1.5 ⭐ out of 5.
All very good , reception very helpful , excellent breakfast , lots of choice , the cheff even cooked fresh fried eggs for us each morning , very clean … We had a room with balcony which made all the difference . Location of Hotel just perfect , with bus stops just out side , ferries and trip boats 20 mins walk . Resturants so much choice , with a very short walk .would defo coms back again .. Malta has allot to offer ,so much History in this tiny island for young or old alike .
We had a very stressful experience when my dad accidentally fell and was badly injured while we were at the pool. Raj from the Front Office came to our help right away and was incredibly kind and caring. He stayed with us, made sure my dad was comfortable, and quickly arranged the medical assistance we needed. His calm and genuine concern gave us a lot of comfort during a very difficult moment. We are truly grateful to Raj for his quick response, compassion, and support. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Thank you, Raj, for being there when we needed help most!
We checked in to Bayview Hotel & Spa today, August 25th, with a reservation until Friday, August 28th. Unfortunately, our stay has been marked by a series of inconvenient issues from the very start. Upon arrival at 11:00 AM, we were told check-in was not yet available, which we understood. Staff kindly allowed us to store our luggage in a designated room in the meantime. However, when we returned at 2:00 PM to collect our bags, we found the room locked and were unable to retrieve them. From the moment staff attended to us until we were finally assigned a room, almost an hour went by. We were initially assigned Room 417. When we tried to enter, the door was locked and would not open. My partner went to find assistance and was told to simply try swiping the keycard several times. Since we were on the fourth floor, he returned, we tried again without success, and he had to go back down a second time to find staff, who then confirmed the door was indeed malfunctioning. We were subsequently moved to Room 725. After spending a few hours in this room, we noticed the air conditioning was not working. We reported this issue and had to wait several hours before staff decided to move us to a third room , this time Room 114, which was considerably smaller than the previous one. Given that this stay is not inexpensive, we are paying nearly €400 for 3 nights, we find it unacceptable to have experienced this many issues in such a short period. Frankly, we would not recommend this hotel based on this experience.
the location is amazing and comfortable, cleaning and with all the service access, the reception is very nice, the room has all the facilities.
