Excellent stay!

We had an excellent stay at Palazzo Violetta. Lovely spacious room on the top floor with a large terrace. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels left whenever they were needed. A nice touch was the breakfast included with the stay. Plenty to choose from and all very tasty. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Diego at reception - he went out of his way to help when it was needed. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Malta.

A wonderful hotel in an excellent location near Ballutta Bay

This is a lovely hotel in a great location for Silema, St Julian's and Ballutta Bay. The hotel is located on a traditional residiential street about ten minutes away from Ballutta Bay (if walking) and I felt entirely safe throughout as there are always people around and locals are never far from sight. If you are keen to be close to St Julian's but away from any touristy noise then this is the hotel for you. There are supermarkets close by and I never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for a Bolt taxi. The hotel is very boutique in style and the rooms are very nice with very comfortable beds. I was in a Queen suite and it was very spacious indeed with a lovely bathroom. The water pressure is not great but at least there are nboth traditional and overhead showers in a large wet room. We were let down on this stay by unbearable noise from drilling that started early and continued over the weekend which was a surprise. Luckily we were out all day and missed most of the noise and of cousre I understand that hotels do have to do renovations and make improvements. Given that the drilling will undoubedly be temporary I would absolutely recommend this wonderful hotel and would absolutely stay here again.

Nice hotel

Lovely hotel and room was big and lovely. Hotel entrance and room clean. The only problem was the lift the doors closed too quickly and I hurt my arm.

Nice hotel. Pool nice and cool which was great for the 40+ degree days. Room was clean and comfortable. Close walk to ferries.

I was there with my family last week. We were given a dark room, and our towels weren't changed unless we specifically asked. To wrap up the evening, we headed to the outdoor pool area to celebrate our anniversary with a couple of glasses of Prosecco; however, even though access was unrestricted, we were asked to return to our room. We were very disappointed. I also want to point out that the pool was dirty, and we had cockroaches in our room. A stay we certainly won't be repeating.
