We are currently staying at this hotel, having booked through LoveHolidays who recommended it as a family-friendly, all‑inclusive resort. After only one day, it is already clear that the description is misleading and the reality falls far below expectations.
The hotel’s check‑in policy is unnecessarily rigid. Check‑in is strictly at 3:00pm — not a minute earlier — and early check‑in is only available at an additional cost. The attitude is more reminiscent of a detention facility than a welcoming resort.
What is advertised as all inclusive is, in practice, a very limited offering:
Only a small selection of basic drinks and snacks.
Extremely restricted food choices.
Desserts consist of three cakes and some pineapple/watermelon. This is not an all‑inclusive dessert buffet by any stretch of the imagination.
This is not an all‑inclusive experience and feels deliberately misleading.
Staff interaction is disappointing. Basic politeness and customer engagement appear absent. Attempts to speak to staff are often ignored, and smiles or courtesy seem optional rather than standard.
Rooms are clean but dated. They do not match the standard expected of a 4‑star resort.
The pool rules are excessively restrictive:
No games
No jumping
No activities of any kind
Children and families are essentially expected to stand quietly in the water. This is not compatible with a “family resort” and feels more like a set of military regulations.
After one day, it is clear that:
The resort does not offer what it advertises.
Everything beyond the bare minimum requires additional payment.
The quality is closer to a 2‑star hotel than a 4‑star resort.
We still have a full week ahead, but based on what we have seen so far, we do not expect any improvement. We will not be returning, and we strongly advise others to avoid this resort unless they wish to overspend and go hungry due to the limited food options.
Excellent location. Perfect for tourists and families. It has great pools and a private beach with an excellent beach bar. You but pre autherise your card to leave a credit at the reception. Please approach the day staff at the reception as they are better in terms of helping you. The management is good. Be patient as their are plenty of young interns who make lot of errors. Food is average and do not expect huge buffet options in dinner. We booked half board and happy with the price and options. Malta is hot in July so you would opt for light food anyways. Access to the center is by Uber. Their is a small departmental store of the hotel and no other shops around the hotel. The management will charge you for Early check-in and late checkout so do not expect any upgrade or complimentary gestures.
I already posted early this week after one day in the resort. Nothing has improved. Resort is below average, most entertainment is non existent, food is more or less the same lunch and Ildinner, a lot os sunbeds and parasols are broken, twnnis court is rubbish and they want to charge 10€ for it. If you go all inclusive, well it is not all inclusive, more a selected list od items that you can have. Most of the staff is unpleasant. Please avoid this resort
We stay at the hotel for 7 days. Hotel is a little bit old but part of hotel is renovated. Food os good fresh and tasty ! Rooms for 4 peaople are big enought! Every day they clean our room, we had a nice view for gozo ships! I reccomende this hotel. Staff is very friendly!
Lovely hotel, lovely room and view, lovely happy staff of cleaners and restaurant staff. Enjoyed the view from our balcony and the spacious room, food was nice and plentiful, always something there that one would like. Only downside to our stay was at evening meal half way through our week, a school party stayed and their teachers around seven of them were not concerned with their pupil’s conduct, the restaurant staff tried to keep them cordoned off in a part of the dining hall, but it didn’t really work, the ones breaking the rules were drinking alcohol and even vaping, the teachers and restaurant manager did nothing when approached by the waiting staff. This behaviour was just not acceptable. So the only downside to our stay was the clientele they allow, which is beyond the hotels staff responsibility. We would stay again most definitely.
