The Riviera Spa Resort is situated in one of the best-preserved and picturesque areas in the north of Malta, in a tranquil seafront location, facing the islands of Comino and Gozo across a channel of blue shimmering water - simply idyllic!
The Carisma Spa offers a soothing escape from every day’s life, with relaxing beauty and wellness treatments inspired by thalasso therapy. In this indulgent atmosphere, complete with luxurious spa facilities such as sauna, steam room*, thalasso pool, cold room and indoor pool, guests can relax, rejuvenate and revive body and mind. The sauna, indoor pool and fitness centre comes complimentry for all guests.
En-suite rooms are bright and airy and all have a private balcony or terrace with country views. The Riviera Spa Resort is ideal for exploring the islands with the Gozo ferry being only two bus stops away. Boats to Comino are available from the quay in the front of the Hotel (summer months only). Malta's largest blue flag sandy beach and the town of Mellieha are also just a few bus stops away. A regular public bus service connects the hotel to other towns including the capital Valletta a World Heritage City, the fortified Medieval city of Mdina, the Three Cities and Grand Harbour area, the shopping and entertainment meccas of Sliema and St Julian's.

Great Service from Raj Pariyar
Raj Pariyar did an excellent job cleaning the room. He is very hardworking, polite, and professional. His way of speaking is very gentle and respectful. I really appreciate his service and the effort he puts into keeping the room clean and comfortable. Excellent service!

Terrible service AVOID at all costs, shame as reception staff amazing can't do enough
Reception team amazing, room was deluxe sea view very clean and serviced daily. However that's where the good review ends I'm afraid. Customer service doesn't exist here from the bars to the restaurants, you're pretty much ignored, we waited over 30 minutes to be served for drinks, the waiters in the lobby bar have no idea what their doing from one minute to the next. The yacht club bar service was terrible even though plenty of staff and barely any customers we waited 30 minutes for anyone to come over. When we tried to order food and drink at the lobby bar, after 45 minutes my husband went to the bar to place an order to be told they'll come to the table!!! It was another 15 minutes and they only cleared the table full of plates when they brought our order over!!!!! Really poor to be a customer when they decided to do a photo shoot instead of off peak season? Took up loads of sunbeds in the morning and left rubbish behind...Avoid this hotel it might have no kids but the service is the worst we've EVER known, and we've stayed in hundreds of hotels across the world.
Excellent
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel the room was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. The service was excellent and everyone who assisted us was very friendly and they’re all smiling especially the receptionist Eunice and her friends Anurag, Nini and Edenel who’s working at the bar. We will come back here for sure. The location was so beautiful and beach front that you can swim anytime. Highly recommend this hotel!
Fantastic holiday
Hotel was lovely, food was excellent, staff were very accommodating we had a fantastic holiday would definitely recommend, easy access to the bus stop so easy to get around, we travelled all over the island with no trouble and not far from the ferry to go over to Gozo
