When you really want to get away from it all, the Ramla Bay Resort is an ideal destination. With its own 350 metre stretch of coastline, it occupies a secluded spot on the northern coast. It all feels very exclusive and when you're sipping a long, cool drink on the private sandy beach you'll appreciate just what a special resort this is.
Exclusivity doesn't mean being cut off from the rest of the island though. Not a bit of it. Mellieha is nearby– a charming hilltop village – and a popular destination for sightseers. Further along the coast, you'll find more fantastic beaches and places to explore.

There's a moment in every good holiday when you really start to relax. Sometimes it only happens a day or two before you're going home. At the Ramla Bay Hotel, it usually comes very quickly. With its superb facilities, enviable location and out-of-the-way exclusivity it's easy to give in to the feeling and relax completely.
So it's a good thing the accommodation is so conducive to relaxing. It's fair to say that the rooms are larger than average. All rooms feature a balcony/terrace. Rooms at the Ramla Bay Resort are complete with en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, telephone and free Wi-Fi. Your room also includes a complimentary safe, ironing facilities, pool towels, and a mini bar stocked once upon arrival. Seaview rooms are available at a supplement.
As well as the splendour of its own private beach (May to October), the Ramla Bay Hotel features three outdoor pools and an indoor pool; they also run outings to the local watersports centre. In addition, you can play a quick game of tennis, tone up in the gym, followed by a spa treatment or a visit to the snack bar.
A choice of two light, airy hotel restaurants maintain the same levels of quality, ensuring your relaxation and your contentment levels stay topped up for the duration of your stay.

Perfect Escape in Mediterranean!
My first experience in Malta as I've been told I should visit from a friend years ago. So the Mrs and I decided to stay at Ramla Bay Resort as a ninth hour book and getaway. The flight to the driver getting to resort was smooth. Then from the moment we got to the resort they were busy and we arrived in the night so I was surprised but I knew our first interaction with Pawan at La Sosta Bar & Belvedere was brilliant and every interaction when we were present was attentive and always had a smile on his face and believe me this bar was at the main reception so it was always busy. Acezelle another member of the team equally happy and conversational, my Mrs picked up she was from Philippines and they immediately shared a conversation and smiles. We located Acezelle at both the same bar as Pawan but also at Brigantine Bar. Last but not least the Waterline Bar team by the pool offering a variety of well made cocktails and smoothies to spice up mine and Mrs poolside vibes.

Welcoming Arms at Malta
Ramla Bay Resort was lovely, and one thing I can definitely say is that the staff, particularly the bar and cleaning staff, were exceptional, kind and welcoming throughout our stay. A special mention to all the bar staff at Waterline, as well as Pawan and Acezelle at La Sosta Bar, who were always so friendly, attentive and welcoming. Their service really stood out to us and made our stay even more enjoyable.
The room was lovely, clean and bright. We did have an issue with some mould, but this was quickly resolved by the reception staff, so it was dealt with promptly. It is just something to be aware of when staying.
The complimentary minibar on the first day could have been clearer, as we only received water and weren’t aware of what else was included.
The food was good, with a good range of options, and we really enjoyed the evening entertainment, including games, live music and plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy a drink.
If you’re worried about finding a sunbed, there are plenty of areas to choose from, with clear rules from the staff about not leaving towels to reserve them, which we really appreciated.
Overall, the friendliness and warmth of the staff alone would make us come back. We have really enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to returning to Malta for a family trip in the future!
Traditional coffee at KARAMELA
Apart from the warm experience from a very friendly staff,,,,I would like to mention one soft spot for a traditional coffee shop in the Hotel called KARAMELA... I had kafe tat tisjir which my Nanna used to make ❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful Hotel, Great Location and Wonderful Staff
I had a wonderful stay at RAMLA BY RESORT Malta. The hotel is modern, comfortable, and very well maintained. The rooms were spotlessly clean, well kept, and offered a beautiful view, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional.
I would especially like to commend Sitaram from Mojito’s Bar for his outstanding professionalism, attentiveness, and excellent service. The cocktails were excellent, and his warm and welcoming approach made every visit to the bar a pleasure.
I would definitely recommend RAMLA BY RESORT Malta and hope to return one day. 😊

Amazing Experience
From the moment we arrived until the day we left, our experience at Ramla Bay Resort was outstanding. The hotel is modern, spotless, and located in a beautiful, peaceful area with amazing sea views. The staff throughout the resort were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome at all times.
We would especially like to thank Hisham at the Front Office. He was professional, polite, and always happy to assist with any questions we had. His warm attitude and genuine hospitality made a real difference to our stay and left a lasting impression.
We truly enjoyed our holiday and would not hesitate to recommend Ramla Bay Resort to family and friends. We can’t wait to return!
