Located on the 4th and 5th floor of The Duke Complex, the Duke Boutique Hotel is situated right in the heart of Victoria enjoying excellent views all around.
Guests can opt to choose from 5 distinctly designed room types and suites which command magnificent views of the Citadel, Villa Rundle Gardens or are equipped with their own private hot tub ® hot tub and terrace.
The Duke Boutique Hotel is also the perfect spot from which to discover the stunning island of Gozo as it is within 200m from the main bus terminal. A shopping complex, supermarket, car park, bar and restaurant are on site while shops, banks, public car park, cinema and hop on hop off stops are within metres.
Our rooms unveil a discreet luxury, with the finest details taken care of, to ensure maximum comfort throughout. All rooms are non-smoking, sound proof and feature classic contemporary design, luxurious mattress and pillows, high textured count sheets and towels. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and heating for individually controlled room temperatures, minibar, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, flat screen 42" TV, smoke alarm, ionic hairdryer 2000w, laptop safe with electric outlet, international wall sockets, USB ports and free high speed WIFI. Bathrooms feature rain shower heads, shower or bath tub, plush robes, slippers and a shaving/magnifying mirror. Complimentary toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap) and amenities (shoe shine, shower cap, sewing kit and vanity kit) are also available in each room.
Offered in a variety of different layouts, that is single, double, triple, quadruple and rooms with disability access, the environments satisfy our guests' every need.
Each room is different in shape and size. Some have a bath, others have a sitting area, some have views and others have hot tub hot tub but what they all have in common is that they are all finished to the same highest standards.
Treat yourself with massages, body treatments and facials. This hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge). Getting to nearby attractions is a breeze with the local area shuttle (surcharge).
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Excellent location, great service. The suite was light and spacious. Good amenities, tea and coffee facilities. Thoughtful attention to details for my birthday. Thank you. Only criticism, the suite at the back of the hotel was overlooking a brightly lit up carpark overnight and the jacuzzi was not very private, overlooked by the old town. Buildings are lower facing the hotel and the Citadel.
We had a fabulous stay at The Duke. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, attentive and genuinely helpful, and the hotel’s beautiful marble and inviting shared spaces made it feel special throughout.
One thing we especially appreciated was how the team handled our transfer. The taxi company tried to change the time we had chosen, but the hotel made sure our booking stayed at the time we requested. That gave us real peace of mind and showed how much they cared about making our stay run smoothly.
Our bedroom was a highlight: large, airy and so comfortable. We loved having the jacuzzi terrace and made a point of enjoying it every afternoon before heading out for dinner. The balcony with its view of the Citadella was another lovely spot to sit and take in the surroundings.
We would happily stay here again and warmly recommend The Duke.
As always Sharon and Jason are the most amazing hosts. I have been staying at The Duke several times per year for the last four years and would never choose to stay anywhere else on Gozo. They are kind and genuine people who truly do put the needs of their guests first. Their staff greet me like an old friend as do Jason and Sharon. It’s the only place to stay on Gozo.
This was the best boutique hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptional with a terrace that has a hot tub and lounge chairs and the breakfast was phenomenal even with food allergies!
Comfortable hotel, rather hidden away in the Duke shopping centre. Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient for the centre of Victoria, and very close to the bus garage.
