Eating here is a delight. The two restaurants offer outstanding Mediterranean and light Maltese cuisine. There is also a pool bar, café and lounge with a sundown cocktail terrace.
We went with our family in early July and all I have to say are positives. Although it is not beachside, the positives of this outweigh the negatives, the resort was dead silent, and it was located in the rural countryside so it felt very private and exclusive. The restaurants are fabulous in this resort, the first night here we had a BBQ buffet, and on our last night an amazing fine dining experience in their restaurant names La Istoria, it was amazing, it a 2 min walk to Gozo’s craft village, and a approx 4 min walk to a amazing restaurant by a church in San Lawrenz. Additionally, the Gozo experience is much nicer than that of Malta, we have visited Malta multiple times and prefers this much more. In summary, it was amazing, would definitely recommend.
I recently spent three nights together with our friends at the Kempinski last August, and it was completely perfect from start to finish. I have stayed with the brand before, and they continue to deliver the flawless, high-end experience that keeps me coming back. The service was impeccable throughout our entire stay. Every staff member we encountered was warm, professional, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome through out our stay. Our room was an oasis of comfort—spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean, with excellent air conditioning that made the August summer heat completely unnoticeable indoors. The pool area was perfect and provided the ultimate relaxing atmosphere, while the breakfast buffet was a daily highlight, offering an incredible selection of fresh, premium choices. Kempinski consistently hits the mark, and this visit was no exception. It was a flawless three-night stay, and I cannot wait to return for my next visits which are already booked.
Good during the day but nothing to do after 6pm do not recommend for people who are very active during the entire day since nothing to do after 6pm
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was excellent from start to finish. The hotel was exceptionally clean, tidy, comfortable, and very well maintained.
The staff were amazing; so friendly, welcoming, helpful, and always happy to assist. Their kindness and professionalism really made our stay even more enjoyable.
Our room was spotless and very comfortable, and the whole hotel had a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. We were truly impressed with the attention to detail and the high standard of service.

We live in Malta and for us this is a true getaway each time we visit albeit 20 minutes away from home on a Ferry.
We've stayed in many hotels in Malta and Gozo but the Kempinski is on a different level.
