Quaint Boutique Hotel Nadur

Stayed in room 4 for a week from 7th to 14th july. Press buzzer on door) to gain entry. Firstly I must mention Frankie, he is so attentive, nothing is too much trouble for him. He insisted on carrying our bags on arrival (He gave us maps, explained places of interest, options on travel. We were going out early one morning at 7am & he insisted on bringing us a breakfast at 6.30am, it was fantastic, 2 bottles of water, 2 bottles of fresh orange juice, 2 ham, cheese salad baps, a muffin, yogurt & fresh fruit each. We thought it was lunch aswell 😆. He took my husband to the shop to purchase bus tickets. He brought me a nice mug as I like a large coffee on a morning. He goes above and beyond every day. The hotel was fantastic 👌 spotless, beautiful decor, lots of small personal touches, even had shower wash, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash & hand cream, toilet rolls refreshed daily, towels changed ( if u leave on floor as requested). Shower lovely & powerful, There's a hair drier in dressing table drawer, an iron & ironing board in your wardrobe. 2 tv's one in lounge & one in bedroom, can stream netflix and Amazon prime by logging into your own account. A small but nice balcony. Nice view of the small square, you can see the supermarket directly opposite, few steps away. You overlook outside seating at fat rabbit restaurant. Highly recommended & very reasonably priced. Bus stop is 2 mins away, we found the buses confusing, waited 1.5 hours, got the bus to ramla as advised but it took us to harbour & back to nadur & ended up in Victoria, had to change buses, took 3 hours to get to ramla bay, should of taken 10 minutes. We ended up using Bolt taxis as they are so cheap (download app) easy. There's a free of charge ATM in the larger town square right next to bus stop. Wakame resteraunt was very nice & would recommend ( bottom of square). Chicken stir fry in hoisin sauce was beautiful. The bars are extremely cheap. 6 euros for a pint of strongbow & a pint of skol. 2 double gins with bitter lemon 5 euros for both. Xlendi nice busy little town on Gozo, warerfront resteraunts and bars, lovely views. We visited Valletta for a day, (hot & busy) take a fan but worth a visit. We went to Ramla bay a few times, Mgaar harbour is a nice evening out with some nice little bars & resteraunts and lovely harbour views, on last day we found a beautiful little bay, Hondoq ir-Rummien (See pics) 5 mins taxi 7 euros, its like a blue lagoon, beautiful turquoise clear waters, white sand one side, loungers on rock side if u dont want to get sandy. Also pebbles and rocks on other side but easy to get into water. If we found this earlier we would have been there every day, there's a few cafes with food & drink, toilets, we loved it and wasnt very busy like Ramla was. We visited the blue lagoon (booked with Ebsons) camino & caves 13 euros each, camino is beautiful but very small & crowded, Hondoq bay just as nice imo.

We stayed in a super room with a lovely balcony overlooking the church, and because it was St Peter & Paul festival week the whole village had a brilliant buzz. Reception were fantastic — full of tips on what to see, which buses to catch, and how to make the most of a short break. Breakfast was excellent, the room facilities were great, the bed was really comfortable, and the bathroom had a spa bath. The shower wasn’t the strongest, but it did the job. The building itself is beautiful, right in the middle of Nadur, with the Fat Rabbit restaurant tucked underneath the rooms. A little tip: book early. We tried to extend our stay and it was fully booked — don’t be disappointed like we were. Buses are regular, air‑conditioned, and it’s an easy hop to Victoria or Ramla Bay. A really charming place to stay.
