Mirage Bleu 5 stars Hotel perched on Tragaki famous coast offers elegant guest rooms set in verdant gardens. It is situated close to the beach overlooking the azure crystal waters of Ionian Sea. Enjoy new levels of relaxation and explore the beautiful Island of Zakynthos. This sophisticated hotel can be found in Tragaki. The 70 welcoming units offer a perfect place to relax at the end of the day. Mirage Bleu was constructed in 2023.
Be sure to enjoy recreational amenities including a fitness centre and a seasonal outdoor pool. Additional features at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and a communal living room.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We stayed here for four nights. The only five-star aspect of this place is the food — the selection and quality are tremendous. Whoever is behind the kitchen is a genius.
Unfortunately, that’s pretty much where the positives end.
The buildings are chaotically scattered around the property, with some of them still partly unfinished. There are staircases leading nowhere, pallets and building materials lying around and occasional sewer odours. Overall, the place feels more like an abandoned construction site than a finished resort.
And the so-called private pools? Oh my! Dont trust the pictures as they are so deceptive. With vehicles and people constantly passing right in front of you while you’re swimming, there’s not much privacy to enjoy. 😂
The nearest beach is about a 10-minute walk away and is mostly rocks and pebbles, so beach shoes are a must.
The milky-looking pool water is rather unpleasant, as is the tap water. The lock on our room door also got stuck every single time, requiring quite a bit of effort to get in.
But the worst thing by far is the restaurant.
The buffet area is downstairs, meaning that once you’ve collected your food, you have to carry all your plates up the stairs to the second floor. A rather strange design choice.
And once you get upstairs, you enter living hell. It is literally a sauna. Instead of enjoying the amazing food, we had to practically force it down just so we could get out of there as quickly as possible. On one occasion, my wife nearly passed out from the heat, and I had to get her downstairs immediately.
Not installing air conditioning in the restaurant was a huge mistake. There are a couple of fans, but as you can imagine, they are completely inadequate.
All in all, despite the excellent food, this place is nowhere near five-star standard. Three stars would be much more appropriate and, in my opinion, completely fair.
Our room was full of ants everywhere you couldn't leave a drink without covering it as they were everywhere, the private pool was the best part of the hotel. The food was definitely not 5 star and even though we were all inclusive we had to eat out
Well how do I start from the minute we walked in to the entrance of the hotel it all started to come one of the best holidays we had. Sorry I can’t remember everyone names but we was welcomed with a beautiful smiling face telling us let me get your band on leave your cases. The dinning hall soon be closed quick go eat we do all the paperwork later. Which that’s what happened when we was then taken to room which was just what we ordered quite sea view pool just for us. When we opened fridge Birthday cake and bottle of fizz waiting for me. The ten days we spend at the hotel was just as nice, the beach was 2 min walk from our room which was stunning, the water was clear and blue you could see the fish swimming round you. I am someone who had knee replacement but it was fine getting in and out. Have like a walk down with steps so great, we went the beach everyday. The pool outside the room was stunning the seating area with outstanding lounges and sunbeds. Who could ask for more but still more the food never in the ten days we stopped at the hotel did we not find something to eat. Yes I been to big hotels with that much food you don’t know what to pick. But it all taste the same not here the food was so tasty and cooked to a very high quality. The staff from the minute you walk in all helping you with water asking what drinks you need. If anything else can help you with language was never a issue because English very good. Know the family who own the hotel made you feel like you was family the daughter very lovely young lady. Who her mum and dad must be so proud of, it was festive time when we was at the hotel we went to the town it was outstanding the town was full of people. Visitors, locals everyone was out for it being the time of you to honour this wonderful tribute. We saw her she spoke to us smiling and so happy like we was friends. The entertainment is only a few nights but for us it was a tick that’s just what we ordered. So if your hoping for mad, screaming loud music all day this isn’t the place. But if you want to chill, relax and just think mmmmmmmm the best place on this earth. The snack bar great to with hotdogs, sandwiches, wraps and ice cream all flavours. Popcorn to help yourselves which if you got kids great. Children and family was in the hotel but sometimes you would think it was just us two. Some days the pool at the bottom we would be swimming by ourselves no one in. But the hotel was full but still so quite The rooms have everything you can wish for, cleaned every day. The pools cleaned every day the water was so hot like stepping in to a bath. We was here in august so I would say that’s the beautiful hot sunshine. It was so good to have Wi-Fi which worked plus we could get on Netflix and watch it because Wi-Fi was so fast and FREE. Just like the safe FREE. We went on public transport to the town which we asked staff about right outside 5 min walk to bus stop no problem. Easy and safe stunning church to see and port with outstanding boats to look at. We walked down the side street and was little shop and again everyone so welcoming. We booked and went on trip to the shipwreck and blue caves, I am not a trip person but am I glad we did this yes I was swimming on the two stops when we could get in the water it felt so safe. This was my first time in Greece will I be back YES how we was treated couldn’t ask for more. The people so friendly and lovely to meet and thank goodness we had the pleasure to meet you ALL. I could keep going but let you ALL go and stop and see this stunning, amazing, outstanding beautiful hotel and welcoming staff who treat you like FAMILY. It’s fantastic and fabulous 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 plus it needs ALL of these ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very happy with the staff. book a room with a pool connected is much nicer. Rooms are clean and modern variety of food. George at reception is very polite and friendly and let us stay in our room longer due to a later flight considering check out is 11am. Would deffo come back
My husband, adult son and I stayed at Mirage Bleu for a week from 7th September and had an good holiday.
The hotel has a relaxing and calm vibe. Tragaki is a quiet location, but the hotel is close to shops, tavernas and a small but beautiful sandy beach. There is a bus stop nearby so travel to both Zakynthos town and Tsilivi are easy.
We stayed in rooms 446 and 447 which were at the far end of resort and on the 2nd floor. This wasn't an issue for us, as only a 5 minutes walk to get to Reception, the restaurant, pool and bars. (We were taken to our rooms in a buggy on our arrival, which was very welcome with luggage)
The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. WiFi was good. Air conditioning and ceiling fans kept the rooms cool. The balcony was large, with 2 deck chairs and a little table. Housekeeping kept the rooms clean and pleasant. (Although we were rather surprised to notice there was a considerable amount of dust under the bed and some on the shelves, so perhaps after guest deep cleans could be more thorough).
All staff were great. The Reception team were helpful and knowledgeable. Waiting and bars staff were friendly and hard working, a particular thank you to Florianna at the pool bar. Housekeeping team were pleasant and polite.
There are multiple pools around the resort (although some are private for specific rooms types, swim ups etc), we enjoyed relaxing at the main pool and always found sunbeds available. Pool towels can be hired for a 10 Euros deposit each.
The snack bar was great for lunch options, we particularly enjoyed the delicious club sandwiches and toasties, which were made to order - thank you Marios!
Unfortunately, the restaurant and buffet were a little disappointing. Unusually the buffet area is downstairs but the restaurant upstairs, which is not ideal, as food must be carried up a flight of stairs with no handrail and this is somewhat of a safety risk. The views from the restaurant are stunning, but it could sometimes feel very hot up there. The food was often lukewarm, and the buffet choices were rather limited. There were no gluten free options, limited vegetarian choices and the majority of desserts were dairy based, which would be limiting for those with dietary issues. There were attempts to vary the dinner food choices with theme nights, including Greek, Italian, French and Chinese, but nothing offered was fine dining. At breakfast, food often ran out and the chefs seemed frustrated when asked if items could be replenished (bread, yogurt, fruit etc).
There were limited public toilets in resort and these were down yet another flight of stairs in basement at both the restaurant/reception block and pool bar area.
The all inclusive drinks selection was good, we enjoyed the wine, beer and cocktails. There were surprisingly only 2 bars in the resort (at the snack bar and main pool) and both closed at 11pm. Entertainment was minimal, which was a shame.
From a guest perspective, it rather confusing to describe the resort as having 4 hotels, Mirage Bleu, Mythique Bleu, Magique Bleu and Mer Bleu, as there is no clear definition between them and the facilities are shared.
The building by pool bar seemed rather wasted, it seemed hardly used - it included another Reception (often unmanned), a burger restaurant (which we never saw open) and an upstairs area used just once during the week for Greek night. Also, we saw there was a gym but the equipment incredibly limited.
All in all, however, despite these issues, we had a relaxing and enjoyable holiday at the Mirage Bleu.
