Look..... I don't want to completely rip the hotel apart, but there is a reason that you can get really cheap deals here. When we first arrived, in the evening, i thought to myself; "What the hell have I done here?" We were presented with a busy 'strip', full of nightclubs and strip clubs. It would have been ideal for a group of friends on a stag/hen do or a lads/ladettes holiday if you were 18-25. There were cans, fag butts, litter and leftover ends of kebabs. The hotel is located halfway up this strip, fortunately tucked back a little from the carnage. The hotel staff were pleasant, and it was generally clean, but it would not be what i would call 'four star'. The all-inclusive food was average, and only a few drinks at the bar, but it was okay.
The room was ok, it was fairly clean, except for the horrendous smell of sewage that filled the room whenever the air con unit was put on. I am not sure why that happened, but it seemed to blow sewage fumes into the room, and so we would turn it off.
The pool and loungers were pretty nice, and the staff were all great, but I would say that the hotel needs updating if it was to be called '4 star' by UK standards, and i would like to see the brits and locals show greater care for the environment.
The strip and the beach were shabby, because of people chucking their litter and fag butts, which kind of ruined ot for me.
So, apologies for the essay, but of you are looking for a couples or family friendly place, then i would advise to look outside of Laganas. If you are looking for a great piss-up, then this place would be great!

Overall good
We loved our stay here the location couldn't be any better . We could eat and drink unlimited alcohol as well. The massages at the spa were really good and the spa as a place nicely decorated and relaxing which was a surprise in Laganas.
Worst hotel I've stayed at
This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at firstly I'll give you the good points not too many. The location is great right on the strip The room was comfortable enough The pool area was a great place to soak up the sun Now the reality, its advertised as a 4star but I've reluctantly gave it a one. The food was cold not even like warm now being all inclusive you think you could eat what you wanted but signs in the restaurant clearly stated 1 plate per person and if the chef saw otherwise he shouted at you. Snacks were permitted to 1 per person per day not what you would expect from all inclusive. The bar only served whisky, vodka , watered down beer , coke and lemonade ( both flat ) from a bottle and that was that wishing I believed the reviews I read before I went but I'm home now and have no genuine fond memories from my holiday except from the excusion we did and the local restaurants we ate in after the first day making ourselves self catering.
Definitely not 4 star! Hardly even 2 star.
We had a booked a different hotel and moved to Majestic as there was an issue with our original booking. The hotel was very basic to say the least. The restaurant was like eating in a school dining room. The only positive about the hotel was the air con in the room was good! It was a running joke about the number of “Dear Guest” signs! The hotel seemed to be aimed at groups of teenagers!
Safe and well run hotel
They have a very well organized hotel with everything included. Endless food, drinks and all kind of perks that we would need. They even have a spa and tattoo shop inside. For people like me that I like to find everything inside the hotel that’s a great solution! Rooms were great to say the least!
