We stayed at Laganas Beach Resort for one week as a family of four. Overall, we had a lovely holiday and found the resort to be a nice place to relax.
The room was clean, but unfortunately it was very small for a family of four. We booked through On the Beach, and the standard room looked much bigger in the photos, so we were quite disappointed when we arrived. For a family of four, we found the standard room quite cramped.
On the positive side, the food was good, with a nice variety and different options every day. The resort itself was lovely and had a relaxing atmosphere, which was perfect for a family holiday if you are looking to unwind.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the size of the room was definitely the main disappointment. I would recommend checking the room size carefully when booking, especially if travelling as a family of four.
Overall a great and pleasant holiday. The only objections which I wouldn't hide is that I would not rank the hotel as 5*, also another downside was that despite being all inclusive we still had to pay for sunbeds/umbrella on the beach... but everything else was absolutely fine. Excellent location. Clean and well maintain, food excellent, staff very friendly and helpful. More you stay, more you love it place. I will definitely recommend to everyone.
Location was spot on, a few steps to the beach leading to shallow and warm Ionian sea, however if you wanted a sun lounger, it was 20 euros a day for 2 plus an umbrella (they were the ones next to the hotel.) Hotel was a few 100 yards from the Kalamaki road where we found a decent sports bar- Players- great to watch football and their food was really nice , about 15 euros for a meal. The Laganas strip was a bit further to walk especially in the high temperatures. The hotel guests were mainly European, not many Brits. Staff were friendly and polite and went out of their way to help. Any problems were sorted promptly. One gripe was the food being very repetitive, not 5-star rated by a long short. We ate out on 2 occasions because it wasn't very appetising. All-inclusive drinks were served till 11pm, after that you paid. The staff on the pool bar were very generous with the measures of alcohol in drinks. Entertainment needs a good overhaul, ok if you like Greek music, nothing much else happened. We had a Superior suite on the second floor, it was beautiful- lots of space, storage, double balcony, 2 wash basins in bathroom. Just remember NOT to put your loo paper down the toilet! Housemaids were in everyday with towels changed. There was a card to put on the bed if you wanted your bed changing more often. There were also towels to use by the pool, shower gel etc. and a hairdryer. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Very bad place.it s real 3 stars of quality.not ever 5.very bad services.poor drinks :juices with chemicals with water and ice.alcoholic drinks very ceaps,no sunbad included .must expensive în all beach.very bad Fish as a food
