Really lovely hotel and what makes it special are the staff as they all are exceptional. Hotel is very clean. Food is good. Location good. Rooms were great. It’s lovely and quiet and very relaxing.
We have just returned from seven days at this hotel on the 22nd ofAugust 2026. I am going to start with the negative point first.
We arrived at 12:30 pm on the Saturday , and we filled in the requested form ie:passport details etc. We then were dealt with by a very surly lady , I think her name was Sophia but not sure, she was older than the other girls on duty and sour faced and very rude. She informed us check in time was 3pm and we would have to go away and come at that time. Considering we had left Home at 4am this is not what we needed. Eventually we got into our room , 305.
My wife was the first to use the shower and came out after advising that there was water everywhere, I checked and sure enough there was a lot of water sitting on the floor not going anywhere. I went in for my shower using the overhead shower, the water went everywhere, on the bathroom floor and beyond the glass shield. Straight away noticed that water was not flowing away from the drain in the shower and the stench from drain was awful, i lifted the shield and drain was completely blocked with god knows what.
I wend to reception and the nice receptionist came with me to inspect her self as we were also having a problem with the safe. She was shocked by what she saw and smelt. The towels were everywhere as I had tried to mop up the best I could. Eventually the Maintenance guy came and tried his best clear drain and pour some bleach or a.n.other down to clear the smell and drain. The shower remained in a similar way all week and the safe problem was never resolved. I would speculate that drains in this hotel have all the same problem as I overheard other people talking about smell etc.
The hotel lovel and clean other wise and all the staff at breakfast and bar were excellent and friendly. The woman at reception could learn manners and politeness from them. Pool area was great as was the pool.
However we will not be returning due all above
We had a fantastic time at Meandros Hotel & Spa. What really stood out was the staff — the reception team gave us a warm welcome from the very first moment, the restaurant staff were attentive and friendly at every meal, and the spa team made our massages (booked with the welcome discount) a real highlight of the trip. Every single person we interacted with was professional and genuinely welcoming.
The only suggestion I'd offer is about the pool suites: they're positioned quite close to one another, so a bit more privacy — visual and acoustic — between them would make the experience even better, especially for couples.
Overall, a beautiful property with a team that makes all the difference. Highly recommended!
What a beautiful hotel amazing staff impeccably clean , cleaning staff amazing and the waiters in the bar are lovely , food was so good would definitely come back here one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in!
Hotel is nice but not a five star. Postives: good location, clean, nice room with private pool. Negatives: aircon in room didn't work but was repaired quickly. Very small restaurant area, not much choice of food, music in restaurant so repetitive the same songs every mealtime. Pool water was constantly warm, just like a bath! Not good when the outside temperature is so hot! The sunloungers are so close together, literally on top of each other and extremely uncomfortable. Again, the same music played every single day, no atmosphere around the pool at all. Staff very friendly (except one receptionist).
