Klelia Beach Hotel by Zante Plaza

Great place. Food is good, staff excellent. Room and facilities cleaned daily and the shower was powerful. Pool is great with plenty of sunbeds. They don't tolerate towels on empty sunbeds in the mornings ,which most hotels ignore.Brilliant location very close to a great beach. Intend to go back one day.

What a wonderful holiday. We got back 2 days ago from a 4 night stay. The hotel is in a fabulous location, just three minutes walk from a beach and three minutes walk from a supermarket in the opposite direction.

The hotel is modern, extremely clean, but what makes it is the staff, every single member of staff from reception to the restaurant to the housekeeping, everybody spoke perfect English and were just so warm and friendly and kind., I honestly can’t pay them enough compliments.

The pool is a good size and we all had some fun in there, I will say it was the coldest pool I’ve ever experienced, however as it was so hot it was still nice to get in and once you were in it felt fine.

There is only one restaurant but it’s a good size with some outside seating as well as inside, as a vegetarian I generally tend to survive on these holidays on a diet of chips, pasta and bread but this hotel they really made the effort to have different dishes every day that I could have and the food was very nice , breakfast was fab with a variety of eggs, sausage, beans, hash browns, also cheese , ham and bread some cereals, croissants and fruit, something for everyone.

There is no kids club, playground or entertainment team, none of which bothered us as we were a group of 50 year-old mother with 3 children in their 20s. We were there Monday to Friday and there was a singer on the Tuesday night and karaoke on the Thursday night, we took Uno and cards and there’s a pool table that costs €2 so we had a few games of pool and we didn’t miss having the kids discos etc.

The cocktails were lovely, there was red, white and rosé wine on tap to help yourself for lunch and dinner, the white wine was drinkable but avoid the red at all costs! I didn’t have any beer but my son-in-law said you could tell it was very watered down.

If I had to give any negatives, it would only be that the bed was too hard for me personally, but the rest of my family liked the beds, and the wasps were a bit of a nuisance around the sunbeds but that’s just down to time of year and none of us got stung.

We were blessed with five days of blue skies, blazing sunshine and had an amazing holiday. I hope we get to go again another time and I highly recommend it.
