Very pleasant stay at this hotel. It's coming to the end of the season so was pretty quite but the staff were helpful, smiley. It was clean in all areas. The beds were comfortable. It's roughly a ten min walk to the beach. Good location with many nice restaurants.

This is our 2nd visit to Ionion Blu. The first visit 4yrs ago was excellent. This time around has been shockingly poor. A family run hotel, with owners on site every day but didnt interact with any of the holiday makers. I get they are getting ready to shut for the season but breakfast was poor. They shut freezers off a week before we were leaving so no ice-creams. Ran out of barrelled beer. They switched the water circulation pumps off for the swimming pool, leaving it filthy for our last few days. No cleaning around the pool area. Bar staff very friendly. Rooms cleaned every day. Will not be returning to Kalamaki and certainly not this hotel
Booked this just a couple of weeks before we came at end of September as our usual hotel was fully booked. Large room with pool view and nice shower, loved sitting on balcony between 6 and 7oclock having a few beers watching the sun go down. We were on the 1st floor as requested and were fortunate to have 9 lovely days. Linda in the breakfast room and the bar was lovely, always a nice smile and there was a good selection of food available although not very hot but we always found enough to eat. Close to the strip with bars, shops and restaurants and a short walk to the beach. Spoke to a few of the other visitors but most people kept to themselves and its not the sort of atmosphere we like but that's their choice. Overall not a bad place just the atmosphere we felt was a bit strange with people looking elsewhere rather than saying good morning. So being me I used to always speak to make them respond which some just looking vacant.
Just back from a fantastic week at the Ionion Blue! End of season so very quiet. Perfect location, 5 minute walk to the beach, 2 minute walk to the main road with lots of shops, restaurants and bars. Friendly staff. Rooms cleaned every day. Pool and bar area was spotless. Good choice at breakfast, and a good selection of drinks & snacks at the pool bar. Would definitely recommend!
