Caretta Beach Hotel is a well-organized family destination located in the Kalamaki resort, a renowned nesting area for the Caretta-Caretta turtles—a beautiful creature that inspired the hotel's name. The long sandy beach is just a short walk away and can also be reached via a private bus.
Situated 850 meters from the beach, Caretta Beach Resort & WaterPark features a water park with six slides for adults, six slides for kids, outdoor swimming pools, a wave pool, and a lazy river. The front desk is available 24/7 to assist guests. Dining options include three restaurants—two buffet-style and one à la carte—offering a variety of local and international cuisines. Guests can also choose from three bars and a snack bar for quick refreshments and light meals.
All rooms at the hotel are equipped with a wardrobe, air conditioning, and a flat-screen TV. The private bathrooms include a bath and a hairdryer, ensuring a comfortable stay for all guests.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
When we went to care bk tta beach last Saturday looking at the outside looked 😍 quite nice 💯. The receptionist was very quick and we got household to sort it. Was a little apprehensive after reading some reviews, upon arrival the restraint had stayed open so taken straight round for food. Get choice meat was beautiful,check in was straight forward and staff where great. We had 2 rooms all in block L fantastic location only downside my mum struggles with mobility and is very hilly but buggy will collect you and take you any where on the resort. Rooms were clean and maid service daily no complaints we ate at silver spoon,Herb,Blue lagoon ,Bella gusto and Rice and spice all great as much as you like and always found something to eat . Drinks could be very sweet but we asked foe diffrence combinations till we found one we liked.Pools we tge best part NO SUNBED WARS !!!!! Snack bar not bad some things not great but again always found something the gyros are on daily but at difference bars so 1 day at the main pool snack bar the next day at Herb all in all one of rhe best family holidays we have had the staff and the people of Greece treated us like family and were all so friendly. Only negative for us was mums struggle with mobility if i return i would request a diffrence block
Brilliant family friendly hotel. Room was clean and a great size for us, 2 ad and 3 kids. Food was lovely. Couldn't fault it, repeated yes but still tasty. Waterpark was amazing. Our kids loved it. Pools are great. All very clean. Plenty of loungers at any time of the day. AI drinks are lovely. The main strip is right beside the hotel. Would definitely come back.
We only had a 5 night stay at a very cheap price for all inclusive last minute booking but would definitely book this place again probably for 7-10 nights.... absolutely brilliant for families all kinds for kids to do, food was what we expected ( on a rota basis) but always something to eat, had the additional snack bar advantage every day & two nights at different restaurants, drinks were free flowing 🙂 rooms were cleaned everyday an we had poolside one only downside was no direct entry

We had the most amazing family holiday at Caretta beach in August. We stayed for 11 nights and the children couldn’t believe how much there was to do there. Not once did they say they were bored. A huge shout out to the entertainment team. Every evening there was something different. The team were always so happy, enthusiastic and fun. My autistic daughter took a particular liking to Tara who was amazing with her. She still tears up when she talks about her. She used her holiday spending money to buy her and Keisha a matching friendship bracelet. Tara took the time to wave us off when we were leaving. My daughter cried all the way home because she will miss Caretta, but we have some very special memories we will cherish forever. We hope to be back one day.
