The hotel is situated right in the centre of Alykes, which is full of restaurants and tavernas serving countless exquisite island delicacies. A stone’s throw away from a beautiful beach, and the Zakynthos Airport Dionysios Solomos is only 19.6 km, around 31 minutes by car. The hotel offers modern, spacious rooms and has been described as a true gem by guests. The hotel comprises of a spacious lounge with satellite TV and relaxing music, is open 24 hours. The bar with the swimming pool offers all day relaxing sunbathing, and refreshing cocktails, and finally the restaurant, with the sunny patio, where dinner is served, all prepared from the kitchen of the hotel. For the guests travelling by car, the hotel offers spacious parking. The air conditioned rooms are modern, have a private bathroom with a hair dryer and toiletries.

Just home ,had a good stay, hotel is very nice ,pool area nice ,pool bar and food very good ate twice here ,hotel let's it self down of an evening no bar only attached to the bistro restaurant no atmosphere of an evening, could be so better, had a lovely stay but would not stay again.
By far, the best accommodation we have ever stayed in, in Greece. Anywhere! Beautiful room. We had a suite and we were not disappointed. Room S13. Spotlessly clean and the garden bar breakfast and lunch were excellent. We really couldn’t fault this place for location and quality of accommodation. Staff very friendly and service good. Pool area is excellent. Large and deep pool for swimming. The views from the pool over the hills are great. Room cleaned daily and regular towel changes and bed changed during our week stay. Large outside patio with sea views. Only a minor gripe, and it’s a personal choice, but smokers can smoke in the outside dining area, which can be annoying. It’s undercover, albeit outside and open. For us, there should be a designated smoking area as in Spain. I would highly recommend this place and will return. Please keep up the excellent standards and service. Thank you x
We had a 12 night bed and breakfast break and appreciated the warm welcome from Ruth at Reception, and a surprise free upgrade from a Chic room to a larger one. We did not really appreciate being dropped off on the main road with our suitcases and hauling them uphill to the hotel, into reception, up some steps, into a lift and onwards to our room. Surely the hotel could arrange to meet incoming coaches with someone able to assist? We are a fit 75 and 77 but saw other elderly guests who were physically disabled... Every other aspect was great, as were all the friendly and helpful staff. The hotel and the excellent pool were daily kept spotless and the breakfasts offered many choices to suit everyone.
We switched to this hotel after giving up on where we were booked in as it was awful with the most uncomfortable beds ever. The room we were allocated was so lovely that we were happy we switched. Pool is amazing and choice of food at breakfast was really good......happy days! Unfortunately my husband suffered a medical episode and had to be taken to hospital and this is where Ruth at reception stepped in.ruth you were amazing keeping so calm and arranging an ambulance, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Just to let you know husband is recovering well at home xx
We spent 11 nights in August on B&B basis. Bus drops you off at the main road just a very short walk uphill to the hotel. This hotel is in a fabulous location with gorgeous countryside views all around and a 5 minute walk to town. We were welcomed by a lovely lady on reception who walked us to our block and showed us to the lift- we were on the top floor facing the pool. Our room was huge and very clean with a king size bed - a sofa and sofa bed - with a big balcony overlooking the pool. Only problem we had was when showering - water spilled out into the rest of the bathroom due to small shower screens - this made the floor very slippery. Be prepared to use a lot of towels to mop up. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice - staff constantly monitoring and replenishing food. The staff in this hotel are so pleasant, friendly and hardworking . They make you feel very special and this certainly contributed to making our stay very enjoyable. Superb pool - I have not seen a pool this big in any resort hotel for years. Loads of loungers and never full. Had a couple of snacks in the snack bar and the food was good . Can’t comment on the bistro as we ate out every evening. Alykes is a small pretty resort with a lot of very good restaurants and bars -and a beautiful sandy beach ( €15 2 beds and parasol) - we just loved it. The locals were so friendly and accommodating- nothing was too much trouble. Also the neighbouring resort of Alykanas was only a 20min scenic walk along the river or beach - bonus of two lovely resorts with plenty of places to eat drink and relax. Alykes and the Koukounaria hotel were exactly what we hoped for on a holiday and is one of the places we will certainly be returning.
