Great Hotel ,can't fault it in anyway fantastic location great food,right on the beach ,two minute walk into the village good number of nice bars and tavernas .Staff amazing and friendly Room was perfect ,check in quick and efficient as was check out
I booked this hotel last year and will be honest some of the reviews at the end of 2025 season had me nervous, but we didn’t need to worry at all! Such a lovely hotel, perfect location on the beach, few mins into town and short airport transfer. Beds were comfy and rooms very clean, fresh towels every day and the housekeeping staff were lovely. Our air con tripped one night but was all sorted by ‘Legend’ by lunchtime. Pool is more than enough and the beach is gorgeous, so safe, warm and plenty of hire options for water sports. Short walk along to the harbour in the evening with a beautiful sunset - everything shades of blue and orange. Food was really, really good. Constantly topped up and lots of Local cuisine plus theme nights. Drinks could do some work but this is a cheapish AI and bar staff were fab. We were two families with tweens and teens, they weren’t bored at all and we were comfortable to let them wander along the beach etc themselves so felt like a chill holiday for us too. Evenings are really laid back, plenty of place to sit and play cards etc but if you want to venture loads of options within a short walk - we did a mix. Shopping in town is also nice. Arrived yesterday 11th September 2026 walked into the room really disappointed no where near four star accommodation. Went with it some other issues I will elaborate on in my full review at the conclusion of our stay. Main issue room small balcony tiny unable to sit out as air conditioning unit noisy a pumping heat int the tiny space. Tried to address this with Reception and TUI rep requested a move denied . The the couple with a room next door with a lager balcony were moved to another room. They requested a move after my request. Common sense to me would be move us to that room. The reception staff even confirmed I emailed prior to my asking for a sea view or upgrade that I would pay for an upgrade reception stated they checked availability the day I arrived none available. I have never experienced such inflexibility where ever I ha stayed in the world. Please check all reviews before booking we looked at the first few should have dug deeper. Nerved had to before. Wise now Other negative reviews state please come back so we can make it right. Why not make it right in the first instance.
Location is stunning and the most impactful for the whole resort. Atmosphere was very pleasant and professional. Not a huge amount of entertainment but the Greek night was very good fun with everyone taking part. Rooms were very clean and well serviced, clean towels each day. Upon check in you receive a large bottle of water in the fridge - it would have been nice for this to have been replenished. We found the value reasonable. Food and drinks were readily available throughout the day. Noise level was very good. It’s a very calm resort, very family orientated. Staff are very professional, well dressed and polite - always with a smile on their face. Food was a good quality. Different options each evening with a staple choice for children. Chips with a fish finger/nugget, some plain pasta and a ragu based sauces. Lots of fruit options, salad and bread. Fun and tasty puddings and the best breakfast mini doughnuts! The resort is spotless and well spread out. The sea is breathtaking - nothing more, nothing less. Great for families as it stays shallow. Take your snorkels, there is so much sealife to see. Oasis bar next door is brilliant - ask for the white sangria. We can see why people return year after year
Over the last 20 years myself and my family - parents and I ( now my husband and 2 children also) have been here at least 6 times.... Right back when it was self catering to now twice as it's all inclusive... And we always question why we look at other places and don't just come back here.
The food was lovely! The only night we didn't like was Chinese 🤣 we came to Greece to eat Mediterranean not Chinese! The other nights the food and selection was lovely and fresh... Like all Ai buffets could just be a tad hotter.
The drinks are standard all inclusive. Tasty nice and if you drink enough yes I did feel the alcohol.
It wasn't perfect my little boy sliced his toe on a broken tile around the pool. But the way in which the team handled it was fantastic.... The lifeguard is a credit to you team and was so quick to help and so great with the kids.... And then there was Zoe she made sure the tile was fixed within half an hour and came to talk to us, redressed his toe, checked in with us and resolved the whole situation. The whole team are wonderful and after an Aircon hiccup the first night was fixed promptly the next day. The reception team ( day and night) was polite and helpful as could be too
Rooms are basic, but rooms in Greece are not the same as huge complexes In Turkey, but you get a more personal touch and the rooms we spotless.... Every day! The maids were friendly too
Thank you for a wonderful holiday. We have a special trip planned in 2027 but I'm sure we will be back to alykanas instead of looking for somewhere different we like our perfect little holiday spot
