Locations is perfect! Pool looks over to the ocean and mountains. If you want to relax this is the place to be! Was like staying in a mini town! Beautiful! Atmosphere was the best. Everyone is respectful and kind. Workers served every need and more! Helped us out in so many ways. Very clean establishment! No complaints at all! Quite and peaceful area!
Wonderful location- pool overlooking the caldera. We also had a room with caldera view, small room, but had all needed. Spotless clean. Staff was always helpful- solving whatever needed if they could, starting from early checkin, special requests or transfers. The restaurant of the hotel is very good. Breakfast is basic for a five star, but plenty of food and varied. We have rented acar for two days- the island is really easygoing from here. Prepare to walk around.
Absolutely fantastic hotel. Beautiful rooms, lovely pool area, delicious food and INCREDIBLE staff. Cannot recommend highly enough. Will definitely come back.
Amazing hotel with incredible customer service and so much attention to detail. Lovely welcome drink - homemade lemonade and bottle of wine in the room. Everything we requested was handled promptly and efficiently. My daughter and I also enjoyed a complimentary spa facial, which was a lovely way to start our holiday.
We stayed in a room with a jacuzzi and beautiful views. The breakfast was fresh, with a focus on quality over quantity. The whole hotel was exceptionally clean and fresh, and we loved relaxing by the pool with the music.
The only downside is that the hotel is a little remote, which we liked but public transport options are not the best. You can easily order a taxi or Uber, but be prepared for the cost, as transportation can be quite expensive.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!
About 20 minutes from the airport, we took a private taxi transfer, which was very reasonably priced.
The hotel is situated on the outskirts of the village, overlooking the bay. Everything is beautifully tidy, well designed and impeccably manicured.
The bedrooms are spacious, as are the bathrooms, with a great power shower and lovely toiletries. Our room was exceptionally clean and well maintained throughout our stay, huge comfortable beds and fluffy dressing gowns and slippers.
Yes, there is a road between the hotel and the cliff edge, and it can be quite busy, but this didn’t impact our stay at all. We could hear a slight sound of traffic when sitting on the balcony reading, but we were aware of this before arriving and it really didn’t bother us.
The staff here are superb, friendly, attentive and incredibly hardworking. We’ve seen many of the same faces throughout our stay, and while there are far too many to mention individually, they really are a lovely team. Miltos was particularly attentive, and always remembered what we would, after a few days he knew how predictable we were with our coffee or egg orders. The bonus of a small hotel is knowing your customers.
The food has been wonderful. Breakfast is perhaps a little limited in choice, but small selections out to keep everything fresh and replenished when needed, but there is more than enough and you certainly won’t go hungry. Fresh eggs are cooked to order, as are the coffees and teas, and the fresh juice is also of a very good standard. Lunches have been delicious too, everything we have had has been fresh and tasty. My only suggestion would be to have a selection of light bites at lunch - tomato balls/breads and dips/baked feta etc. As much as I love my food some lunch times I really didn’t fancy eating much.
The walk into the town is safe and really isn’t far at all, with plenty of places to stop for delicious food. See my other reviews for some of the places we’ve eaten. The local bus stop is close by and takes you towards the southern part of the island, where you can get a boat taxi to the Red, White and Black Beaches. There are also two supermarkets nearby, which are handy for picking up extra water, snacks and other essentials. Suggestion wise it would be lovely if the hotel could provide a minibus /shuttle to the beach or the tavernas in the south as bus times aren’t ideal and taxis can be pricey.
The atmosphere at the hotel is fantastic, relaxed and peaceful. The pool area never became particularly busy during our stay, so there was absolutely no need to reserve sunbeds, nor is it welcomed. You can get a bed at pretty much any point during the day, which was a refreshing change and meant we never had to think about sunbeds!
We would most certainly return and can’t recommend this place highly enough. A beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, great food and a genuinely relaxing atmosphere, exactly what we were looking for.
