We recently stated in this hotel as we were visiting Santorini for a wedding but also wanted to feel like we had some time to ourselves away from the wedding party as a couple. The hotel from the moment we arrived was a dream! We had a swim up room and this was worth the extra money to make it extra special. The hotel is immaculately clean and the staff cannot do enough for you. The food is delicious and compared to other hotels with a buffet this was great, high quality and lots of variety. I wanted to do a shout out to a team member George who was a dream part of that team, when it came to service he could not do enough for you. George helped with everything from booking trips, taxis and he is always checking his guests are ok. I unfortunately broke my foot while there and he was always checking if I was ok and ensuring it didn’t spoil my holiday. All of the staff were the best including the reps for TUI but George is the best I have experienced in all my holidays.
I spent a week here from 4th September and really enjoyed the holiday. The staff, food, facilities etc were excellent. The drinks are very expensive . There is a mini-market and a local bar called Dorians very close, turning left out of the hotel and then right at the main road. The beach is close with numerous beds but again the drinks etc are expensive. It’s volcanic shingle/sand so not the best. The weather was amazing all week without a single cloud. A bit breezy but in this weather it was most welcome The entertainment was generally ok, we all have different tastes so i’ll say no more. The rooms are minimalistic but clean and with fresh towels etc.. all was ok. The main problem we had was that the holiday was booked through Tui but they used EasyJet for travel. Nightmare. The plane on the return was declared not safe after sitting on the tarmac for two hours. We all had to find accommodation etc…very stressful but obviously not the hotels fault…just Tui and Easyjet So, would I return…yes
Lovely hotel. Very quiet but perfect if you just want to relax. We were a group of 6 ladies celebrating our 50th’s so was a little too quiet for us but the Staff are amazing and made it special. Shout out to Dimitris, Samuel, Magda, Markus, George, Helena, Yogi, Zoe (apologies for spelling of names) who were all fabulous and made our holiday.
Stunning hotel in beautiful Santorini. Spotlessly clean and right on the lovely Perissa beach. Plenty of places along the strip to either chill out or soak up the amazing Greek atmosphere. Food was really good. Special mention to Christos in the restaurant, quick, efficient and very polite. Will definetly be back.
We stayed here for a week in late August, on a half-board basis, and have mixed feelings about the hotel. There are many outstanding features but equally, there are aspects that could be improved.
The Excellent Features: The hotel is ideally situated overlooking the beach and is a short stroll away from supermarkets, bars and restaurants in the area.
The staff, without exception, were outstanding and all of them were eager to deliver a first- class experience for guests. Sophia and the team in the restaurant were professional, knowledgeable and hardworking; the bar staff were equally professional as were reception, cleaning and pool staff. We didn’t meet any employee who was reluctant to deliver the very best service and our grateful thanks go to all of them. Dimitry helped substantially in the main restaurant with my gluten-free diet and Markos in the Culinarium delivered an outstanding Michelin-grade table service. I highly recommend the Culinarium experience as the food was of a very high standard.
The rooms were large and well appointed and our room had whirlpool bath on the balcony. The pool areas were clean and, crucially, there were 3 pools… the main pool, the beach pool and a smaller quiet pool so there was always somewhere to sit and enjoy the sunshine.
Areas for improvement: The food in the main restaurant was not always 5 star, particularly at breakfast time. The fruit and yoghurt section was always excellent but the hot food did not always meet expectations. Presentation of same was an issue where food didn’t always look inviting. There was an omelette station but the omelettes were often very dry and unappealing. There were however, lots of different types of bread which many guests enjoyed either toasted or accompanied by cold meats, cheeses etc. Dinner was often quite uninspiring. Again, I feel that the presentation was an issue and some of the meat on offer fell below par for us. As someone who lives with Coeliac Disease, I often had dinner made specifically for me. As my food was of a very high standard, I can honestly say that the chef(s) are highly skilled so there is a potential conundrum/mismatch there. This is a TUI Blue so drinks were quite expensive. There are however, bars in the area where drinks are good but with a more realistic price tag.
In conclusion, I would recommend this hotel but with certain caveats. The staff, the cleanliness, the rooms, the entertainment and the pools were all 5* but the food on offer sometimes fell below expectations.
