This wonderful hotel, built in Aegean style with 70's linear design forms, enjoys a perfect location at the quieter end of the main strip in Kamari. Within walking distance guests can reach the famous volcanic black sand beach. In the immediate vicinity guests will find a series of shops, supermarket and restaurants. Fira is approximately 9 km away. This is the perfect hotel for endless hours of leisure by the sea.
Relax on the private beach or enjoy other recreational amenities such as an outdoor pool and a fitness centre. This hotel also features complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and gift shops/newsstands.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We stayed at Kamari Beach Hotel as part of a seven-night package holiday and were disappointed by the overall value.
Breakfast was very limited and poor quality, with inadequate gluten-free options for one of us. We had paid extra for bed and breakfast but often chose to eat elsewhere. Our room was smaller than expected from the photographs and the king-size bed was two singles pushed together. We also found the late-checkout room to be disappointing.
There were positives: friendly staff, good location, enjoyable cocktails and good beach access.
The wastewater smell we noticed in the evenings appeared to affect Kamari generally, rather than just the hotel.
Overall, we wouldn't choose this hotel again and would recommend researching the breakfast and room details carefully before booking.
Good hotel with nice rooms, pool area and restaurant. But it’s the staff who makes the five star review. They are extremely helpful and friendly. I recommend this hotel to any one, any day.
The music at night is old and not good
This hotel is just perfect, with very friendly staff who cannot do enough for you. The location of the hotel is perfect and is vey very clean with all facilities you could ever want. This hotel and the people working in it went a very long way to making our stay perfect (thank you all the staff).
Me and my husband Ben came here, it's a fantastic hotel and the staff are very very friendly and helpful we met a few staff one of them was called Micheal who helped us with our luggage on arrival amazing l and also the manager and reception staff are also are very very helpful and friendly everything about this hotel is wonderful we are very much enjoying our stay here would defanately come back
