Celebrating our wedding anniversary we chose this lovely 5☆ beachfront hotel in Kamari and we were not disappointed for a number of reasons: 1. Fantastic location on the beachfront with numerous quality restaurants and shops on the doorstep 2. Seven pools to choose from with plenty of quality sunbeds 3. Two exceptional restaurants with quality food and fantastic service from amazing staff such as Stella, Dora, Andrew, Maria, Kristian and Jimmy to name but a few 4. Lovely Georgia the concierge who will arrange all your trips and other activities as we experienced a Luxury Sunset Catamaran Cruise, Sunset Island Tour and a romantic Sunset Dinner in Fira. Long story short we enjoyed every second at this exceptional hotel with many happy memories 😎
The hotel is in a great location on the beach front with many bars and restaurants nearby. The beach is rocky but gets better as you walk further down but would advise to take beach shoes, although there are local shops you can buy these from. Yes its very close to the airport and planes go overheard but this did not have a negative impact on our holidays. The room was very clean and a good size with a safe and hairdryer. No iron but you can ask reception to send one up to the room. We booked a beach front room and definitely worth getting up for the sunrise The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and will provide any information you need re busses, places to go and excursions. We booked the hidden gem one which I would recommend. Bus to Fira cost 2.2 euros each way and was easy to use. Bus from Kamari only goes to Fira and then if you want to go elsewhere you have to change busses at the Fira Bus station. We did get a taxi back from Fira one evening which cost 30 euros. You can walk to the open air cinema, Dimitiris and the Gaia winery which are all worth a visit. Only two issues we had with the hotel is the cleaners start early and its gets very noisy when they are near your rooms and breakfast although served from 08.00 to 10.30 if you are still there eating yuor breakfast at 10.30 you are told quite bluntly to leave and eat your breakfast elsewhere as they are closing. Every hotel I've been to allow you to stay in the restaurant to finish your breakfast. This is the only reason I have not given the hotel five stars.
Hotel is located at the end of the busy Kamari beach strip of bars and restaurants. It's very close to the airport. Plane noise is loud but flights are not very frequent. Hotel is immaculate in all the public areas and Hotel room. Room cleaned daily with bottled water replenished daily.Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good although cooked items could do with being kept hotter. Excellent selection of pools to sunbathe by, and plenty of sunbeds. Main bar quiet in the evenings with no entertainment. Dozens of bars and restaurants within 10 minutes walk to satisfy all tastes. We would definitely return again, and again and again.
Stunning location right at the top of the Main Street ….. very well located spacious I think 7 pools plenty of sunbeds, no need to reserve. Beachfront, beautiful setting and outlook, beach is rocky but pretty accessible and sea shoes a must you can purchase in the town. Room very stylish, Greek, white, patio with an outlook, cleaned very well restocked water, towels, tea and coffee daily, beach towels given too, can swap for clean when wanted in reception. 5 star service all round …. We booked with jet 2 reasonable price, we paid extra for half board - Breakfast plentiful restocked, Half Board also great different every day (contrary to what others have said!) restaurant has a beautiful outlook beach view from every window which opens out, the balcony / patio is beautiful sit on too. Staff are amazing!! Nothing too much trouble, huge thankyou to our favs - Christian (my daughter needs oat/soya milk always given without asking) Stella for her recommendations, Dora and all the other super staff reception poolside too made our stay memorable and a huge thank you from us all Kamari is stunning explore, eat and drink out the Greek people are so welcoming, recommend also a boat trip this made our stay and Thira visit and Oia too! Thank you Santorini you’ve been brilliant
