This beautiful hotel, built in a traditional Cycladic style, is located just 50 m from the beach of Kamari, a bustling and touristic area full of bars, restaurants and shops suitable to all tastes. It is approximately 9 km from Fira and Athinios harbour is about 11 km from the hotel. The airport can be found less than 4 km away.
Dip into one of the 2 outdoor swimming pools or enjoy other recreational amenities, which include a fitness centre. Additional features at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, concierge services and babysitting (surcharge).
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The hotel is very clean and our room was large and comfortable. Most of the staff were pleasant and friendly especially Grace who always greeted us with a friendly smile and was welcoming and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting the restaurants and bars along the front of the resort. Sadly our first impression was not good! We arrived late around 2150 in the evening, as it was our first visit we had paid the additional cost to upgrade to half board the man who checked us in was not very pleasant at all and interestingly enough he never wore a name badge! We asked about food as we had two children ages 4 and 6 with us to be told “the kitchen is closed “ as you can imagine this caused us an upset as we didn’t want to walk out in the dark when we hadn’t got our bearings. We tried to speed up check in so we could find a restaurant that was still open and able to feed us but he was more interested in selling us a catamaran trip. The only porter on duty was busy so after waiting around we asked to be given directions to our rooms so we could make our own way there. Once in our rooms my daughter got a call to say they would make us something to eat and Arthur who was most unpleasant brought us a bit of something to eat. This whole experience could have been avoided if they made some sort of provision for late arrivals on half board!
We are coming to the end of a fantastic family holiday at The Aegean Plaza. The hotel is beautiful and our room was perfect for a family of four with two teenagers. The staff work tirelessly and every area without exception is spotless. Sunbeds have been reserved ridiculously early but not the hotels fault when you have guests reserving them at 2.30am! It was worse in the first week but the second week there have been plenty available at 9am. That said we haven’t struggled to get a bed as there are 3 pools. Breakfast is really good and lunch at the pool bar is nice. There are plenty of lovely restaurants nearby for evening meals specifically Ariale and Almera and the Chinese restaurant (Kiwi?) was fantastic. We took the bus to Fira, €2 per person, great shopping and spectacular views. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!
Its very difficult to get halal food in most hotels in santorini but in this particular hotel, a waitress named Grace made life so easy for our family of 4.. she pointed out the Vegan dishes the ones that contains meat and even specially got the chef to make a vegan tomato pasta sauce for our pasta.. so friendly so helpful, this will definitely encourage more muslim travellers esp from malaysia to come! Tq Grace
*Nice hotel - great location for restaurants/shops-2 mins to beach *Pleasant and helpfull staff *Nice room with air con and private balcony We used the shop over the road for snacks & drinks *nice pools we had no problem getting a sunbed-get towels from reception *No entertainment so few children and quiet at night *close to airport -planes fly low over head

you must do the outdoor cinema -fabulous

Great hotel just a short walk from the resort where there were lots of lovely places to eat. Spotlessly clean everywhere, staff couldn’t do enough for you, polite & friendly at all times. 4 different pool areas , plenty of comfortable sun loungers available & they had a very chilled vibe. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
