This hotel is located in Faliraki Bay, lying on the east side of Rhodes Island. The hotel is located just a short walking distance away from a fine sandy beach. The resort of Faliraki is located just 500 metres away, where guests can enjoy a host of attractions and entertainment venues. This charming hotel is set amidst tranquil gardens, affording guests the best of both worlds. The guest rooms are beautifully appointed, offering a haven of peace and serenity in which to completely unwind at the end of the day. The rooms are well equipped with modern amenities. Guests can take advantage of the host of leisure facilities that the hotel has to offer.
Can’t fault hotel it’s staff except for check in at 2.00am just left us to find our own way and it’s a big complex so that wasn’t good. Requested to high rise together got 2terrace a corridor apart so another down. But breakfast is fantastic everything you could ask for brilliant. Sea within 350 m sunbeds hiked up again as they all seem to be and want to charge one person for 2beds and brolly . Where the hotel is situated is like a suburb of Falaraki and we certainly wouldn’t go here again . More fast food places than proper restaurants. Not impressed with the restaurants we visited not very nice food or nice food but lukewarm. If you thinking of visiting here go the other side towards the little harbour with the church on .
This was our fifth visit to the hotel. We are familiar with services and usually good standard of hotel. Previously we have requested ground floor accommodation due to mobility problems of members in party and our request was always met. I contacted hotel prior to arrival and requested ground floor, but we were ignored and placed on higher floor. Although there was lift it barely held 1 person and was out of order for 4 days of our stay. Furthermore the steps had no handrail. The balcony over looked an eyesore are of a waste area and derelict buildings. Hotel staff were not prepared to move us and we had to struggle moving around hotel. Corridors were noisy and poorly lit. We all felt staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. So if rooom staff at breakfast we’d also unhelpful. It appears the hotel owners have focussed solely on increasing revenues but cared little of standards off service. After going many times to Faliraki and staying at the Orion we will not return in the future
Orion Hotel is in a great area to explore Faliraki. It’s close to the beach and restaurants. The hotel staff are lovely and friendly. Rooms are great and very clean. Lovely breakfast and the pool is lovely. The pool snack bar is great also. I would recommend.
Excellent hotel, no problem getting a sunbed in August. very clean, staff were amazing. Breakfast really good. Slight problem with noise from other guests late at night. Otherwise ok We hired a car and went sight seeing for 2 days best thing we did Rhodes is beautiful.
Very disappointing stay
Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel has been very disappointing. We are staying in the room shown in our reservation, but the room is in poor condition and does not meet our expectations at all. The overall quality of the hotel is far below what we expected, and the staff are not very friendly or helpful.
We are genuinely unhappy with our stay and feel that the hotel does not provide good value for money. We would not recommend this hotel and would not choose to stay here again.
