Only a short distance from several interesting shops, bars, taverns and many other opportunities for entertainment, however, there is every chance that you will be so engrossed by the huge offering at the resort that you may not venture much further. The hotel gardens feature a large swimming pool, along with a children's pool, poolside snack bar, not to mention sun loungers and parasols. In addition to this, the Blue Sea has two outstanding restaurants serving up meals that are sure to satisfy every taste; four bars where you can put you can sink into a lounger whilst sipping on your favourite tipple; and for those moments when you're seeking to replenish the body and soul, tennis & squash courts, a fully-equipped gym, a hot tub, massage rooms and sauna.
The Blue Sea has 317 spacious en-suite rooms that are fitted and decorated to ensure your stay is a comfortable and relaxing one. With every room having either land, sea or mountain views from the privacy of the balcony, your comfort will be complemented by a real lavishness. All rooms come with WiFi, air conditioning throughout the summer season, satellite TV, telephones, a fridge, a safe and a writing desk so you are bound to feel very much at home during your stay here.

We had a great stay at Blue Sea Beach Resort, we booked for 7 nights on All Inclusive board basis. The lobby/reception area was clean and always had staff available to help. One reception member very helpfully explained the bus timetable for us as we couldn’t make sense of it! On a related note, the bus stop right outside the hotel was great, so convenient and easy to use once it was explained. There are two round fish tanks that don’t appear to have anything in them and for me, maybe these can be modernised and made into a real feature as they didn’t match the rest of the hotel at all. There is also what looks like an old sign for the hotel as you’re driving past, which made me worry as we pulled up that the hotel was going to be really outdated. When you’ve passed 5 or 6 other beautiful modern looking hotels on the way to Blue Sea Beach Resort, that was a bit of an immediate red flag as to what we were going to walk into.
Our room was around the side of the hotel there were only three rooms in our section, on the ground level (we were room 1045). One of the hotel staff showed us to our room and offered to help with bags. We were super close to the beach, and there was a pathway around the side that took us straight to the pool. I would recommend some additional lighting around the walkway to these rooms as it is dark on a night time. The room was clean and tidy, air con and fridge within the room both had no issues. The shower cubicle is small, but we’re had no issues with the size ourselves. One drawback was when the room was cleaned each day, the floor never seemed to be vacuumed/swept as obviously coming in and out of the room and using the beach etc. we were bringing little bits of dust on shoes and sand from the beach. By the end of the 7 nights, the floors felt really messy and it was impossible to walk around the room without picking things up on your feet and having to dust them off.
We never had a single complaint with food, there was plenty of choice. My partner isn’t fussy at all, but I am less experimental with food and still found there to be plenty of options and could always make more than a good meal each mealtime. Food was always hot, fresh and regularly replenished and showcased different themes each night. Anyone complaining of lack of options or food quality, I really don’t know what else you need, you absolutely will not starve! We did feel like the staff were a little slow with removing plates when finished, sometimes plates were completely empty, very clearly finished and they’d have passed 2/3 times without removing it (on a table for 2 the table is full after two plates are put to one side). Drinks were all great, a really good selection among the all-inclusive menu for beer/wine/spirits/cocktails. One improvement here, would be the fizzy drinks, they were all a bit poor tasting however they seemed to be slightly better when ordered from the bars, rather than in the restaurant areas.
The gym had dated equipment, but all of it was functional so no actual issues there. It is slightly frustrating that the gym only opened from 10am in line with the spa (they’re in the same building) – as I imagine a lot of other people who prioritise training on holiday, want to be up and done early in the morning. It does also tend to get quite busy within the first hour of opening.
Entertainment was good, lots on during the day. Music was loud around the pool areas but typically only featured in the mornings and around activities like aqua gym/Zumba as you'd expect. Each night had a different show/act and varied in quality (the best one for us was the ‘Legends’ Singers, The ABBA tribute was a bit too cheesy for us and put us off).
The pool areas are great, such lovely pools and plenty of spaces to capture sun all day, as well as lots of shaded options if needed. Someone had commented previously about sunbeds being stacked up on a morning, this is a completely misleading comment and actually annoyed me when I saw it in reality. Both pool areas, and the beach are covered with lots of sunbeds already out for you to use, the only area where sunbeds are stacked up is on the (very small in comparison) grassed areas, behind the pool. There are many other options before you need to get a sunbed from the stacked section. We never struggled for a sunbed, there was always lots available around the pool and beach at 8:30am-9am after having breakfast.
The beach was gorgeous, sand initially and then pebbled leading into and in the shallow section of the sea so definitely get some sea shoes as it gets super hot and is a bit tough on the feet! We snorkelled every day for hours, there was so many fish, loads of people in the sea and lots of water sports to enjoy too. On the whole, a lovely stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would absolutely return and recommend to family and friends. A couple of very picky improvements which would really go above and beyond to improve customer experience, but honestly no real big complaints at all!
Fantastic hotel with friendly and helpful staff, tasty food and relaxing area by the pool! We also loved that the beach is next to the hotel, and having bars both by the pool and on the beach was really great.
A special thanks to Linda, who works on the terrace at the end of the restaurant. She was absolutely lovely and made our dinners even more enjoyable with her warm and friendly service 😊

We stayed at the Blue sea Beach Faliraki Hotel August 2026 as a family of four with two children aged 16 & 10 years old. Only negative was the food in the main buffet restaurant, the food is ok at best. The restaurant is chaotic as there is no flow so lots pushing in etc. Massive plus is the beach bar which serves hot food all day, the selection is not as big but the food itself is so much better. We really liked our family room no negative comments at all, room was cleaned everyday and was very clean. We are regular visitors to Rhodes Faliraki and in all the truth we have never spent so much time in a hotel. Location is fantastic you can walk straight from pool to the beach in 30 seconds with free sunbeds and beach towels provided, oh and 10 minute walk into Faliraki centre. Entertainment was the best we have ever had, we stayed for 9 nights and 5 different live music tribute acts who were all very very good and got everyone involved. The animation team were phenomenal and made our holiday so enjoyable and we had so much fun. The animation team kept you busy throughout out the day with so many activities but only if you wanted to with no pressure to take part it was your choice. At night the animation team put on a quiz night which was hilarious,its not a normal quiz, and then Mr Blue sea beach is just another level its so funny. Would like to say a massive thankyou to all the animation team for looking after our family and just being brilliant all the time. Big shout out to Attilio,Greg,Matilda,Amelia & Victoria❤️
Location is sublime, just a short bus ride into faliraki where there is plenty to do, beach in front of the hotel with a snack bar and drink bar, About half an hour from Rhodes town. Faliraki water park is 15 mins away for a good day out with family or friends. The hotel has a nice layout with 2 pools, mini market, 2 bars and crepe station. The pool bar gets busy during the day but it moves fairly quickly, lots of entertainment during the day but not so much in the evening, we found ourselves getting on the bus to Faliraki most evenings after dinner but at €3 for two people we couldn’t complain. We had a room facing the street so the view wasn’t as nice as the ocean view, you could hardly hear anything from the road so we weren’t bothered. The walls are very thin and you can occasionally hear neighbours in the bathroom which could get awkward 😂. Nevertheless we were impressed with the modernity of the room and it was very comfortable. The all main restaurant dinner was good, nothing too special but lots of variety and different themes of food which was good but we did find ourselves eating out on occasion. Breakfast was the usual all inclusive breakfast which was ok for us, one complaint about breakfast was the Frankfurt sausage as opposed to the “village” sausage but that really was our only issue. We didn’t eat lunch in the restaurant as the snack bar had gyros and when we visit Greece on holiday we typically only eat gyros at lunch but the gyros was unbelievably nice. The baklava was gorgeous and the highlight of the hotel especially for me 😋.
This hotel is amazing for couples and families, we’d come back for sure definitely what we needed and would recommend for anyone wanting to visit Rhodes
There were pros and cons to this resort. The resort itself was clean and maintained. The rooms were comfortable and cleaned daily. What they do not tell you is they have a separate set of buildings over the road from the main one which we ended up in, was not impressed by that. The beach was lovely and plenty of beds. The creperie at the bar was fab. Staff all seemed friendly. However the food was its biggest let down. Hot food was either over cooked or just lukewarm. The salad bar was repetitive and sometimes there were some odd looking concoctions. There are no bars near the resort and the resort bar shut at midnight so having a relaxing late drink was out of the question. There just seemed to be nothing to do at this resort, there was entertainment but catered for a young family, which is a shame as it has potential to be so much better. I won’t be back.
