Great service beautiful views and wonderful breakfast m. Can’t wait for the new hotel to be built to stay there
A very nice hotel with great location and view and very friendly staff. There was a small misunderstanding with the room booking but this was fixed as soon as possible
Nice people at the reception, very helpful. Very good location to visit Rhodos city by foot. Very friendly people also at the breakfast. Not to forget clean rooms.
The location of the specific hotel is fantastic. You feel that you can jump from the balcony in the sea. The feeling is like to be on a cruise boat. Rooms very well maintained and clean. The staff always willing to help with a big smile. The price is value for money.
Me and my partner have just come back from a weeks stay at La Vita, both of us suffered from stomach bugs by day 2, presumably from the food as the only other thing we ate before this point, other than pre-packaged crisps, was the breakfast buffet. We noticed others around us who seemed unwell, and upon checking the reviews since we’ve come home there is a clear common theme. However the rooms were comfy and clean, although very dated. Housekeeping staff were happy to help clean whilst we were unwell. The pool was smaller than the photos looked, and mostly in the shade, however there was exclusive use of the beach sunbeds instead.
Once better, we were offered an upgrade to visit ‘Club 8’ in Faliraki, as in their words we were ‘a young British couple’ and this is an exclusive offer to our demographic. Before deciding to accept we asked plenty of questions and La Vita said they would send us there in a private transfer to spend the day there, and then would accommodate us in a nearer Mitsis hotel to the club, so we wouldn’t return to La Vita. We triple checked this would be absolute no cost to us, as we had already paid for our whole holiday and didn’t want to get stung, which the reception team agreed we would not have to pay a thing, however when arriving at Club 8 it turns out that nothing had been arranged for us, no reservations and that we would have to pay to enter. We rang La Vita to question this, and the placed the blame on us saying they never mentioned Club 8, when in reality this was the absolute first thing they did mention to us and were trying to show us, pointing at the big electric signs in reception of the Club. Reception were extremely rude and sarcastic to us when we were not confrontational in the slightest so this was very disappointing from them.
We ended up staying in Mitsis Faliraki from this point onwards which completely turned round our holiday and was the best experience. So I wouldn’t waste your time going to La Vita.
Reception team will also pressure you to leave 5 star reviews on google and trip advisor before checkout, in return for a ‘gift/upgrade’, we noticed them do this with other guests too so I wouldn’t trust all the positive reviews.
