We had a lovely holiday overall, but this hotel wasn't quite the right fit for us. The hotel was very quiet and would be ideal for couples or adults looking for a peaceful, relaxing break. However, there wasn't much for children to enjoy, and we would have preferred a livelier atmosphere. Our room was clean, as were all the hotel grounds. The view from our room wasn't the best, but as we didn't spend much time there, it wasn't a major issue. The all-inclusive food was a little disappointing. There wasn't a great deal of choice, and many of the dishes were repeated throughout our stay. On the plus side, the cocktails were excellent! The location was one of the hotel's biggest strengths. It was only a five-minute walk to a beautiful beach and around a 10–15 minute stroll into Lindos town, where there were plenty of lovely restaurants and bars. The town had a great atmosphere without being overly busy or rowdy. All of the hotel staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful, always making us feel at home whenever we returned from a day or evening out. One disappointment was the lack of evening entertainment and limited pool facilities. We felt the website gave the impression there would be more on offer, so this was a little misleading. As a result, we ended up spending more money than expected going out in the evenings. We would definitely return to Lindos, as we loved the area, but we would probably choose a different hotel next time with more entertainment and a livelier atmosphere. That said, if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday in a great location, this hotel could be the perfect choice.
We have just finished our week long stay at this hotel and had the most romantic and lovely time. We stayed for our anniversary and arrived after such a long and draining travel day. We were greeted with a smile and our suitcases were taken to our room for us. We were also greeted with a lovely act of service from the hotel for our anniversary. Overall the stay was beautiful and we will be back.
-not too much entertainment on a lot of nights just had music playing however it was nice and chilled which was perfect for what we were looking for.
Overall a stunning hotel in a stunning location and we will be back in the future for sure! Xx
Stayed here for a week in June as a family of 3. The hotel itself is modern and clean. Our room was nice, cleaned everyday – However, I would definitely upgrade to a sea view room as our view was of the building opposite. Reception staff are lovely, always made balloons for our daughter. Location was good, 10 min walk to the strip – however I would not stay here if you have mobility issues as you do have to walk up a very big steep hill to get to the strip. The thing that lets this hotel down is the food, the lack of choice and the food is tasteless! Some things I tried were disgusting, (i.e the potato soup tasted like salt water). We had to eat out every day which was annoying as we were all inclusive. Another issue was the drinks; we stayed all-inclusive but we had to pay for many of the cocktails and spirited drinks??? Unfortunately, I would not stay here again unless the food/drinks were dramatically improved.
This is our first time to Rhodes & the white olive hotel has been a very chilled holiday. The rooms are beautiful, the pool very nice & the staff really make the hotel.
Semi really stood out for us he was true gentleman and helped us whenever we needed it. His work ethic was amazing working in the hotel in the day & then in a bar at night! My son found his alcohol making special as he had a 2 day hangover haha!!!
It has been a great holiday the food was delicious in the restaurant & the pool bar was exceptional. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay hopefully we will return one day.
We were part of a family wedding, and this was our first time visiting Greece. Since it was going to be our first holiday here, we were a little skeptical when choosing a hotel. Most of our family had booked this hotel, so we decided to do the same, although we were hesitant after reading some of the reviews online. To be honest, most of the complaints seemed to be about the food, so we took the risk and booked our stay.
From the moment we arrived late at night, everything exceeded our expectations. The gentleman at reception was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the security staff helped us with our luggage and made sure we had everything we needed after a long journey The hotel itself is relatively small, but that is part of its charm. It is beautiful, peaceful, and has a lovely pool area with a great bar and relaxing atmosphere. What truly makes this place special, however, is the people who work here. Every member of staff greeted us with a smile and genuine kindness throughout our stay. Whether at reception, the restaurant, or the pool bar, everyone made us feel welcome and cared for.
I would like to mention a few people by name, although I wish I could remember everyone. Semi at reception was exceptional. He was always there to help, no matter what we needed, and seemed to be everywhere at once! In the restaurant, Arscli, Alsi, and the rest of the team provided wonderful service every day. Alexandra at the pool bar was also fantastic-always friendly, cheerful, and a pleasure to talk to. And a big thank you from our small Daisy to the kind Georgia for her lovely gifts to her. Regarding the food, I want to be completely honest. Before arriving, we were concerned because of some of the reviews we had read. In reality, we found the food to be absolutely adequate for the type of hotel and the price we paid. Of course, there is always room for improvement. The lunch selection could offer a little more variety, but the breakfast and dinner were enjoyable, and the snack bar by the pool served delicious food throughout the day. Having the option to enjoy a meal or snack while relaxing by the pool was a big plus.
If you are looking for a friendly, relaxing, and welcoming hotel with a great atmosphere, wonderful staff, and a quieter environment away from noisy resorts, this is a fantastic choice. And I cannot finish this review without mentioning the hotel's cats, who became part of the experience and brought smiles to our faces every day. Thank you to the entire team for helping make our first trip to Greece such a memorable one. We arrived with some doubts, but we left with wonderful memories and would happily return.
