We have recently returned from an 11 night stay at Lindia Thalasa in a triple room . The room was spacious with an enormous king plus bed and a single bed which we did not use . Apartment was clean and we had fresh towels every day . Walk in shower , small kitchenette area which we only used to make a drink in the morning . Fridge was very useful . Had to pay additional fee for the use of the safe . Note pool towels are not provided . Also the bath towels were not very big unless you are a skinny mini, unlike my husband and myself . Breakfast was in the breakfast room and a selection of hot & cold food plus pastries . I would have preferred more fresh fruit rather than tinned peaches , pineapples and fruit salad but adequate selection. Use of any pool by any of the three sister hotels . We preferred to use Island Blue pool as quieter and not as many children . All pool areas were clean and tidy and no struggle for beds . We ate at Meze on first night as we were tired from an early flight . Great food and good service but we were the only 2 diners at 8pm. Not many hotel guests seem to use this restaurant which is a shame . Many great restaurants within a short walk from the hotel . We enjoyed Philosophia ( need to book ) and Artemis among others . We didn’t have a bad meal during our stay . The biggest shout out to Stephanie on reception who was an absolute star . She helped us book a catamaran cruise and the boat to Lindos . She even offered to bring us beach towels from home . A great asset to the hotel . Given the girl a rise !! Would highly recommend this hotel and the area of Pefkos . We might try staying in Island Blue next time .
These apartments are absolutely beautiful. We stayed for 2 weeks in block B in a 2 bedroom apartment. It was spotless and our housekeeper did a wonderful job keeping it clean throughout our stay. The beds are so comfortable. We had clean towels every day. There was maybe only one thing I would recommend and that would be a chopping board and a cutting knife. Also maybe some hooks on the back of doors but these are minor things. The storage is fantastic. We had so much space for our things which is uncommon. The location was great for us as it was so easy to pop down for a sea swim but then come back to your pool lounger. The staff at the Lindia are all lovely. Special mention for Spiros on the bar. Most of the people we spoke to were repeat guests here and we could see why. Breakfast is also a bonus. The food was delicious and you could choose to sit inside our outside. The only downfall is that our fortnight just went by too quickly.
Sun bed wars at this hotel!! All beds, when we were there in August, are reserved by towels by 7.40am!! There are all also so many large wedding parties and weddings going on every other day!
Rooms are great,, lots of space, very clean, shop on site is brilliant, breakfast is nice, pool bar food also good, nice selection It’s a really great location to walk into pefkos etc and the beach being so close is gorgeous!
Spa is definitely worth a visit, we had a few treatments, nails, massages and facials!! All perfect!!
Staff are super here, Stephanie on reception and Spiros on the bar were brilliant!!
Well this hotel is quite popular with families has a nice pool, room was comfy with kitchen,beds were comfortable, shower great ,staff helpful, breakfast good . You can also walk down to the sea in a couple of minutes there's not much beach but sea shallow and calm . You can also use the sister hotels for there isn't much of a sunbed war at this hotel which is great you can normally get sunbeds although the usual suspects at 6.pm reserving sunbeds god knows why as there are plenty and you can use the other hotels in the complex and there is a great little Greek restaurant on the complex but you have to book this .
We stayed at Linda Thalassa in September as a couple, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. From start to finish, we were incredibly impressed and would happily return.
A very special mention has to go to Stephanie, the hotel’s receptionist she was absolutely amazing! She is, without a doubt, one of the most helpful, positive, hardworking and genuinely caring people we have ever come across in a hotel. She went so far above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and looked after.
Unfortunately, my partner suffered from sunstroke during our stay, and Stephanie was incredibly thoughtful. She called us the following morning to check how he was feeling, continued to ask about him throughout our stay, and even arranged for us to have a takeaway breakfast so we could have something to eat without needing to leave the room. Her kindness and genuine concern really stood out to us, and she made what could have been a stressful situation so much easier.
Stephanie also arranged a private transfer for us from the hotel to the airport, which I would highly recommend. It was actually €5 cheaper than the alternative, and we had a lovely, spacious Mercedes bus all to ourselves. She really thought of everything!
We also experienced some noise from a villa opposite the hotel on one or two evenings. Unfortunately, our room was on that side of the hotel, close to the villa’s wall, and the guests there were quite loud. We mentioned it to Stephanie, and once again, she handled everything so thoughtfully. The following morning, we had a beautiful fruit platter delivered to our room as an apology. Stephanie, you’re honestly the best!
Aside from the exceptional service, the hotel itself is fantastic. Everything was very clean, the rooms were spacious, and the pool was lovely with the perfect, comfortable temperature. The hotel also has a great supermarket with everything in it including floaties for the pool. Having the supermarket in the hotel was so helpful and convenient. We also hadn’t realised before arriving that guests can use the pools and bars at two other hotels, which was a fantastic added bonus.
The breakfast was great, with a really good selection of food, and the beach is literally a two-second walk away. The hotel even has its own private stairs leading directly down to the beach, which was so convenient.
The location is also excellent, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby in Pefki, while Lindos is only around a 15-minute drive away. Make sure you visit Lindos it’s absolutely beautiful and well worth the trip and around 12-15 euro single trip!
We only have two small criticisms. Firstly, the hotel’s photos show what looks like a poolside/swim-up bar. The structure is still there, but it is no longer actually a bar, as the current bar is located further back. We were particularly looking forward to the swim-up bar, so we think the website could be updated to make this clearer for future guests.
Secondly, we would have liked to see a little more entertainment in the evenings. We stayed for five nights and there was entertainment on just one of those nights. This isn’t a major issue, as there are plenty of restaurants and places to go nearby, but we would suggest going out in the evenings if you’re looking for more atmosphere and entertainment.
Overall, though, we had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend Linda Thalassa. The hotel is beautiful, clean, comfortable and in a fantastic location, but what really made our stay special was Stephanie. Her warmth, kindness and willingness to go the extra mile genuinely made us feel cared for, and she deserves a huge amount of credit for the wonderful experience we had.
