We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Lindos Mare Hotel and, from the moment we arrived until the day we left, we genuinely felt looked after. This is a beautifully run hotel where it is obvious that every member of the team takes enormous pride in delivering an exceptional guest experience.
The staff deserve special recognition. Every single member of the team we encountered was friendly, attentive, professional and impeccably trained. We were always greeted with a genuine smile, nothing was ever too much trouble, and the level of service throughout our stay was consistently outstanding. It created such a welcoming atmosphere and made us feel valued from beginning to end.
Our room was equally impressive. It was spotlessly clean, spacious, modern and beautifully presented. The balcony was a lovely size with plenty of room to relax, the bathroom was stylish and well appointed, and there was ample wardrobe space, a fridge and everything else we needed for a comfortable stay. We also appreciated the thoughtful lighting design, with several different lighting options that allowed us to create just the right ambience in the evenings. It was clear that a great deal of thought had gone into both the design and functionality of the room.
The food throughout our stay was exceptional. We stayed on a half board basis and, although we chose to swap our evening meal for a couple of the hotel’s alternative restaurants during the week, every dining experience was superb. The quality of the food, the presentation and the service were consistently first class, and we genuinely couldn’t fault any of it.
Our final evening at the Pelagos restaurant was a truly memorable experience and the perfect way to end our holiday. From the moment we arrived, the service was simply outstanding. Every dish was carefully explained, we were made to feel incredibly welcome and genuinely treated like royalty throughout the evening. The food was superb, the wine was excellent, and the whole experience was faultless. We’d particularly like to thank all of the waiting staff at Pelagos, who made our final evening so special. Their professionalism, warmth and attention to detail were exceptional and left us with memories that we’ll treasure.
The buffet restaurant also deserves a special mention. Rather than large trays of food sitting out for long periods, everything was presented in smaller portions that were constantly replenished. This meant the food was always fresh, beautifully presented and maintained to an exceptionally high standard. It is undoubtedly one of the finest buffet dining experiences we have ever had.
If I were to make a couple of suggestions, they would be very minor and are more personal preferences than criticisms.
Firstly, the pool area is beautiful and wonderfully relaxing, but during the afternoons it felt just a little quiet. Some subtle background music, perhaps alongside a daily cocktail hour, would add a little extra atmosphere while still maintaining the peaceful feel that makes the hotel so enjoyable.
Secondly, the pool towels could be improved. The sun loungers are excellent quality and generously sized, but the towels only cover around half of them, leaving your legs and feet resting directly on the lounger. Larger towels would make the experience even more comfortable. We also felt that the bright blue colour of the towels didn’t quite complement the elegant, understated style of the hotel. This is such a small observation, but Lindos Mare pays such incredible attention to detail in every other aspect of the guest experience that more premium looking towels, in colours that better reflect the hotel’s sophisticated ambience, would complete the experience perfectly.
Those really are the only suggestions we could make, and they are offered only because every other aspect of our stay was so impressive.
Overall, Lindos Mare exceeded our expectations in every way. It offers outstanding hospitality, beautiful accommodation, exceptional food and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The hotel strikes the perfect balance between luxury and warmth, making you feel completely at home while delivering five star levels of service.
We would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Lindos Mare to anyone visiting Rhodes, and we very much hope to return ourselves in the future
The Food and Service are absolutely exceptional at Lindos Mare. The setting of the hotel with stunning views draws you in on arrival, and every member of staff has a friendly smile from the moment you walk in. Savvas and his team look after you extremely well at the main restaurant, and the buffet food is of a very high standard. At the pool bar through the day there is a great selection of lunch and snacks, then in the evening it becomes a superb fine dining à la carte, the scallops were a highlight. Jurgen and his team were brilliant here. Rooms are very nice, beach is beautiful. A genuine 5 star experience, which merits its high tripadvisor score.
We have just returned from an amazing 10 night stay at the Lindos Mare hotel.
This was our 1st visit and we can confirm we will be returning in the future. It was the best hotel I've ever stayed in - the reviews do not lie!
Firstly when you arrive you are blown away by the views. The reception area is immaculate and modern, very stylish. The staff were lovely and helpful and then "Mr George" helped us with our luggage. It is a little overwhelming if you are staying in one of the rooms that require a few lifts but after a day we quickly figured it out and found our way around no problem. We initially had a double room with sea view and this room was very tastefully decorated. Beautiful warm tones and fantastic sea views. Also the toiletries in the bathroom were so good I didn't even bother using the ones I brought from home. One thing that stood out for me was the fact the fridge was really cold. This is a rare find in hotels where the fridges are sometimes pointless but this one was fab!
We then upgraded to a shared pool access swim up room after 2 nights as my husband liked the look of them and we were celebrating our anniversary whilst away so thought it might be a nice treat. In all honesty I preferred my double room (for the decor). It was a great luxury having the pool access but I think the rooms could do with a refurb. In hindsight I wish we had viewed it first before upgrading (which I will definitely do next time!). The pool was in my opinion quite dirty and we only noticed it being cleaned on the day we left. Again it didn't spoil our trip but I just think next time I will stick with a double sea view room.
The main pool area was lovely, no sunbed wars ever which was refreshing. You can order food and drinks to your lounger using a QR code and loungers are really comfy. The pool was a lovely temp and perfect size.
Now the best part for us - the food! Omg i have never ever been to a hotel that serves food of this quality. It literally blew us away. Every single meal we had was amazing! The breakfast buffet was very high quality and offered good coffee and beautiful freshly squeezed orange juice. Then the evening buffet was outstanding. We loved how you got offered dishes from a main menu if you wanted something cooked for you rather than off the buffet. The fillet steak was fantastic. We also loved Asian night. You will not be disappointed with the food I promise you this. Savvas and his whole team who run the buffet restaurant were incredible and we thank you all so much for making our holiday unforgettable.
We have already booked Crete for next year but I know we would have booked Lindos Mare instead. So looking to go back 2028. You will not be disappointed.
What an incredible experience at the Lindos Mare. Being an allergy sufferer, food can be somewhat challenging when on holiday and can be a concern for both myself and my husband. However, my experience here could not have been further from that. From the moment we arrived, staff were attentive to my allergy and ensured I felt confident and safe with what I was eating. They made it clear that they saw it as their responsibility to ensure I could enjoy their food.
Every interaction I had with staff about food was great; they were all aware of my allergy so I wasn’t needing to repeat myself each time. They even made me dessert separately in the buffet restaurant, so I wasn’t going without (which is usually the response I get from hotels). The effort and diligence around this was excellent.
Continuing on the food theme - food quality was excellent and portions were HUGE! The buffet was always varied, and it was nice that on some nights the main course was served à la carte style. Lunch restaurants were also brilliant, lots to choose from and food of high quality.
Thank you to all staff at the Lindos Mare - we hope to return very soon!
Just returned from our 16th visit to this wonderful hotel. Every single member of staff does an excellent job to make your stay unforgettable. We always feel utterly spoiled, nothing is too much trouble. Needless to say we can't wait to return. Thank you Efi and all the team, kerp up the good work.
