Lindos Princess Beach Resort and Spa

Ok, so my review is going to contradict a lot of the others but for someone who notices the small things I wanted more so to write this review. We also travel a lot to various hotels, so depending which level of hotels you like..

• Arrival *

As we landed late, we paid for a private transfer which meant we arrived an hour earlier than the Jet2 one. To be met by a long line of people waiting. No welcome. No offer of a drink. One very stressed out man on reception. Put it this way arriving at 2am with 2 toddlers it was not fun. We stood and waited an hour - the jet 2 bus arrived while we were still stood waiting. It felt, rushed and an abrupt welcoming. We worked out that while waiting 40+ guests must have checked in, surely the hotel would have known who and when people were expected so why they didn’t prepare for this is beyond me. Why was only one member of staff on?! The family at the front of the line received a gift for the children. We didn’t receive nothing and even the description of the hotel was shouted to the crowd instead of personally. We honestly at this point was dreading what was to come.

We then had to wait for the 1 man who had a buggy and was taking people and there luggage to there rooms. He was extremely stressed and I felt so bad for him as clearly understaffed. Wasn’t fair to add so much pressure to him in a physical job like that. Management should be looking at this staffing situation as not a great first impression.

However when we drove into the result we were really impressed.. it looks so pretty!

• Entrance & Resort *

I have to admit the rooms are gorgeous! Clean, spacious we have 3 children. I love how we have view of the park but trees to also have that balance of privacy. The grounds are also beautiful. Lovely play area.. the only comment is as the slides are metal it means they are simply too hot to use during the day. There are three pools altogether the main pool which has all the activities during the day a second pool which is more aimed towards the little kids and then the third pool which has the water slides which our 3 (13 and 10) loved!! all the pools are a great size and I love the fact that you can’t reserve beds before 8 am, which meant that it was fair when finding seats around the pool and we didn’t feel like we had to get up at a ridiculous time to reserve which has been a problem at previous hotels.

Towels for the pool you get a reception and change every few days for new.

• Food & Drink *

The food and drink I would say is good and has a good variety of meats and a different theme each day. We did find that the food down near the beach is a better than up in the main restaurant and a lot more relaxed and quieter. What is a bug bear for me is the fact that the glasses are cloudy and I felt like I needed to check the cups and glasses that they are clean before using. The wine glasses are very basic which takes away from that luxury experience and the wine sometimes tasted watered down. The drinks at the pool bar are you have to go to the bar to get these. There is no table service. They are also served in small plastic cups compared to other all inclusive hotels. The all-inclusive is also non-branded alcohol if you want branded you pay extra and you get a piña colada or a cocktail and the glasses are 80% ice, but if you ask they will do less.

• Entertainment *

The entertainment around the pool has been fab, Aqua fitness and dance and playing games, fitness classes, etc. Being honest the shows are a little bit cheesy and you can tell are very home made etc. The team come across as a solid unit and hyped.

The other thing which we also weren’t keen on having been to numerous all-inclusive results is the fact that the theatre is actually in a teared seating layout so you can’t just sit and enjoy a drink round the table and watch the entertainment. You’re sat in a tiered theatre, which is very uncomfortable and you have to leave the theatre to get a drink. UNLESS the show is down at the theatre near the beach where Greek Night is music.

• Other comments *

The other things that I noticed were like somebody had obviously bled on the stairs up to our room there were big blobs of blood on the stairs for 3 days. I get this happens but for me that should have been cleaned that day.

The guy around the pool collecting the cups although doing a great job half of the time he had his bum hanging out of his shorts which is not what I wanted to see from a staff member. For me staff etiquette is something that we take note of and making good connections adding to a memorable holiday.

The mini disco was fab although sometimes dragged on almost like the entertainment team were trying just a little bit too hard to try and involve in every individual child which as you can imagine it takes a long time when you have a huge hotel.

The hotel is extremely busy, which means a lot of children a lot of inflatables and they very loud so probably wouldn’t recommend for those that want to switch off and chill!.

There is a Greek night every two weeks in Lindos which we caught the bus to which is literally the other side of the road from the hotel.

What I wish I had brought with me While we have been here it has been hot but quite windy so in future I would bring some clips for the sun beds to keep the towels attached. I would also recommend bringing a drinks holder. I’ve seen people recommend these off Amazon.

Overall, we are having a good time and loving being with family. l think it has so much potential to even reach a five star with the correct changes. The kids have loved it. But the points of stated from me is the difference in a 4* hotel compared to a 5* and that special memories.

We had an amazing stay at Lindos Princess and can honestly say it was one of our best holidays. The resort is beautiful, very well maintained, and located right on a beach with crystal-clear waters. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, while the staff was always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help. The entertainment team was energetic and enjoyable, adding to the great atmosphere throughout the resort. The food was good, with a wide variety of dishes to suit every taste. The pools, gardens, and common areas were all spotless and exceptionally well cared for. The location is perfect for exploring Lindos and the rest of Rhodes, although the resort itself offers everything needed for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. A huge thank you to the entire Lindos Princess team for making our stay unforgettable. We would highly recommend this resort to families, couples, and friends looking for a perfect holiday in Rhodes.

General Overall, Lindos Princess is a fantastic resort. Its low-rise, two-story buildings create a spacious, uncrowded feel—exactly what we look for. The surrounding gardens are spotless, with dedicated teams constantly maintaining the trees and lawns.

Room We stayed in a newly refurbished, bright, and spotless family room that sleeps up to five. The layout features two distinct areas separated by a door: a main bedroom with a double bed (and an optional single) at the back, and two single beds near the en-suite. The bathroom includes a large shower, toilet, and double sinks. We loved the clever lighting controls near the beds and the useful nightlight feature for the kids. The air conditioning was exceptional—silent, highly effective, and independently controlled in each room area. The only downside was the presence of ants on the ground-floor patio, though housekeeping tried to address them daily.

Pools & Beach The resort features three clean, well-maintained pools of varying depths. However, the sunbed layout around the pools felt cramped, often arranged three rows deep. Because the umbrellas are fixed in place, guest shade is restricted, leading people to move sunbeds into others' space. Despite the hotel's 8:00 AM rule threatening towel removal, guests reserved beds early and didn't show up until late morning, leaving few options for others. In contrast, the beach always had plenty of sunbeds available. Typical of the island, the beach is a mix of sand and pebbles. The sea was warm, calm, clear, and great for snorkeling.

Restaurants & Food Food options are abundant and high quality. With two buffet restaurants (main and beachside), all-day street food (fantastic pizza and gyros), and ice cream from 10:00 AM, you will never go hungry. The buffets offer plenty of choice and themed evenings. While there are two bookable à la carte options (Greek and Italian), both were fully booked during our stay by the time we got round to looking at booking so missed out.

Service Service across the resort is second to none; every staff member was friendly and polite. In the main restaurant, the warm and welcoming host (unfortunately can't remember his name) quickly learned our preferred seating area and often had our table ready as we arrived. This paired us with our waiter, Ardrian, who provided first-class, attentive service and remembered our drink preferences every night and made sure we always had one.

Other Activities The sports facilities are clean and well maintained. We used the AstroTurf tennis court (rackets are available to hire from the animation team, though we brought our own). We also tried the mini-golf course, which was fun overall, though one hole was unplayable. Other available activities include bowling and boules. At the beach, third-party watersports vendors offer boat rentals; we hired a self-drive boat for three hours to explore the coastline, visit Lindos, and swim/snorkel.

Nighttime Entertainment While we preferred spending our evenings playing games in the bar rather than attending the main shows, the live bar singer and saxophonist were very talented and added a lovely atmosphere.

We had a fantastic holiday at Lindos Princess and highly recommend it!
