We stayed at Port Royal for our honeymoon, at the suite with private pool. The hotel and service are wonderful! The atmosphere is relaxing, the facitilies are great. Overall, we would love to stay here again! The bed is a bit hard, thats the only thing that we have a bit negative to say about. The food at lobster night at Cibus was a great experience, the wine was good, and George and the others did a good job as our waitor. Thank you to the kitchen for excellent food! Also the buffet and the italian restaurant was great!
George was amazing! Really made the night special!
Such a nice place ! Perfect for a memorable vacation! Our special thanks to Koula and Dionisia who made our breakfast experience so much pleasurable! Also, last but not least, Vasili made our evenings in the bar ungorgetable! Thank you all !
We stayed at Sentido Port Royal Villas & Spa in Kolympia for five nights (23–27 August) as a couple, booked into a sea view room on a room-only basis (no half board or all-inclusive). Breakfast was good – high quality and range, and a great way to start each day. We also treated ourselves to a massage at the spa, which was excellent, and the spa pool was great too (you don’t need to have booked a treatment to use the spa pool).
In addition to the main pool, there's a separate quiet pool, which was a nice option. There's also a good number of restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel, so not being on half board or all-inclusive was never a problem. The gym had a good variety of equipment, though the treadmills could do with replacing. The treads had an odd rubber-band effect underfoot, and a couple threw error messages during use.
Our arrival was less smooth. We were initially placed in Room 103, right beside the lobby bar and its storeroom. This meant disrupted sleep at both ends of the day: noise from the bar closing up late at night, then more noise as staff prepared for the day from early morning. It's worth noting this room appears to be the hotel's wheelchair-accessible room (roll-in shower, space under the sink), which seems a shame. The location makes it unsuitable for anyone needing a proper night's sleep, and I'd suggest the hotel reconsider offering it for overnight stays at all (we saw other reviews mentioning that this room was well below expectations).
To their credit, the hotel moved us the following day to a standard sea view room, which was quiet and exactly what we'd expected when booking. However, getting there involved some anxious back-and-forth. We had to follow up more than once to get confirmation the room move was actually happening, which cast a shadow over our first night and the following morning. In the photos, you can see the unobstructed sea view from the new room versus the limited view from Room 103.
A couple of other small communication gaps: we were offered a late checkout, but only found out it came with a charge when we asked directly (34 EUR for 2h). We were happy to pay, but would have been caught off guard settling the bill otherwise. There was also live music some evenings that played until 11pm, which wasn't ideal on top of being woken before 7am.
Generally our interactions with the staff were very positive, everyone was friendly and doing their best to support the guests.
One practical note: there's no dedicated car park, but street parking nearby was easy and we never had trouble finding a spot.
Overall, once we were in the right room, the stay lived up to expectations (great food, a good spa, and nice pool, but the first day's hiccups and some avoidable communication issues took the shine off what could have been a five-star stay.
The hotel was clean, beautiful and great location. The beach crystal clear water and the pool was huge, never felt crowded. Breakfast was incredible with omelette station as well. We enjoyed our stay and definitely will be back. The staff was very welcoming and attentive.
