We absolutely loved our time at the Atlantica Aegean Blue Hotel. We had an inland family room with balcony. Our daughter loved the bunk bed in the separate sleeping area and the view from the balcony was beautiful. Whilst we didnt have a view of the sea (which we knew) we also didnt have any of the noise from the swimming pool or surrounding bars, so it was perfect for us.
We really enjoyed the food. The amount of choice available in the main restaurant was fantastic. The snack bar was great for just picking up a slice of pizza or burger and we would thorougly recommend the ceasar salad.
We ate one night in the Italian Restaurant and would thoroughly recommend that too. There was no separate children's menu but they did serve (massive) pizza.
The entertainment staff were brilliant. Big shout out to Ash who went over and above in making sure we had everything we needed.
There were 3x fantastic swimming pools that we used daily and we could always get a sun lounger. The onsite waterpark was an added bonus but there was limited shade and the floor was burning hot, so not somewhere we often stayed for long.
We got up really early one morning and climbed up Tsambiki mountain before it got too hot. That is definitely worth doing if you're fit and able. It was fun to see the goats springing about up there too and th views were fantastic.
We wanted to go into Rhodes Old Town and it was easy to hop on a local bus that stopped right outside the hotel. It took about 40 minutes to get into Rhodes Old Town. The buses are air conditioned and we paid by cash to the driver €4 for an adult and €2 for a child.
All in all, we would thoroughly recommend this hotel. We all had a lovely holiday.
Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Stayed with family (daughter 2 and a half).
Started with very friendly and informative welcome from Freya (TUI).
Hotel: paid extra for sea view and was worth it. Had amazing view of pools, sea and mountains to the right. Good space rooms and loved the shower. Pools were nice, not too cold. Always sun beds available any time of day.
Food: Food was decent, a lot of options although partner would have liked more options for vegetarians.
Staff: went above and beyond. Very friendly especially with our daughter. Surprised how much the animation team do, we loved the pool Zumba! Also at meal times and bar staff, very attentive and friendly.
Trips: went on hippo submarine for half day, perfect for our daughter and she loved swimming in the sea. Also did trip to Rhodes Town, should have taken pushchair but was good to have a day out
Entertainment/location: don’t leave hotel but I think 10-15 min walk to main area. Hotel entertainment had a good mix of shows and a mini disco for kids each night that was interactive
An enjoyable stay over all, but so many better places to spend your hard earned cash imo.

Very poor drink quality - if you like quality drinks this isn't the place Poor food quality , buffet not great , Ala cartes ok, but not a fine dining experience. Cleaners sloppy and not thorough , dirty sheets put on bed Some rude staff Fight for sunbeds is real - seems like they over subscribed the hotel ?
Hmm... I am a bit torn about this hotel. It was supposed to be a 5 star resort. In many ways It was, but in other ways it definetly was not.
The 5 star experience: -The buildings, gorgeus and spacious.
-the pool area; a pool for every purpose. Always a sunbed avaliable. Good place around the sunbeds as well.
The not 5 star experience:
-the main restaurant. Chaotic, noisy, crowded. Hard to have a conversation. Small tables, 30 cm away from the people sitting at the next table.
We have just returned from a wonderful stay at this hotel, where we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary, and we honestly couldn’t have chosen a better place! ❤️
From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm and friendly welcome. We were greeted with a lovely cocktail before being shown to our upgraded sea-view room. To our delight, there was a beautiful bottle of wine, chocolates, a plate of freshly cut fruit, sandwiches, and a lovely card wishing us a happy anniversary. It was such a thoughtful touch and really made us feel special.
Our room was lovely — spacious, comfortable, and with a beautiful sea view. The all-inclusive food was also excellent, with plenty of choice and lots of variety throughout our stay. There was always something delicious to enjoy.
All of the staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and welcoming, but we would especially like to give a huge shout-out to the bar staff at the lobby bar. Nikos, Christina and Maria looked after us so well and always made us feel so welcome. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their warmth and friendliness really added to our stay. We’re sorry we missed Maria on our last night — we would have loved to say goodbye and thank her properly! Slanje Maria ❤️
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a lovely, relaxing holiday with fantastic service. We usually like to visit different places for our holidays, but this is definitely somewhere we will return to. We’ll just have to time it a little better around the school holidays next time! 😂
