We felt welcomed from the moment we stepped through the door! The swim up rooms are fantastic and worth the money - the main pool is super busy in the morning due to the sunbed rush so it gave us somewhere to sunbathe/swim until lunchtime. You could always get a sunbed at the beach and the gryos were fantastic at the beach bar. A huge shout out to Evi at the pool bar who knew my drink order right away and helped me order it in Greek, Eva at the patisserie who was so lovely to chat to and made excellent crepes, and Michael who kept the room minibar topped up and was really helpful with local recommendations. All the staff here go above and beyond. They are a credit to the hotel and the experience wouldn’t be the same without them! The variety of food and drinks are excellent, the beds extremely comfortable and a talented animation team for evening entertainment. Couple of suggestions - have the soft covers on all the sunbeds, it makes a real difference. Include conditioner in the showers (there is shampoo and shower gel already). Thank you for a great stay!
Antonia was an amazing guy worked extremely hard and was always checking if we needed a refill . He was very friendly and great with the kids .
Ahmed in the spa was absolutely amazing! He gave us an incredible joint cracking and deep tissue massage and did an amazing job working out all the tension in our backs — we felt like completely different people afterwards! Honestly, we wanted to take him home with us! 😂 Such a talented, friendly and professional therapist. We would highly recommend Ahmed to all. We feel amazing. Jon & Nat
If you are staying here you must come and visit the spa ask for Ahmed. I have been fortunate to have a fair few massages and treatments in my time I can honestly say that I have had the best two treatments I’ve ever had in my life and feel like I have been fixed. As a manual job my body is tired and he knows exactly how to fix you Trust me.
We stayed at Rodos Princess in July. All inclusive package holiday. We arrived late/early morning and were put in a ground floor room in building 6, but unfortunately there were ants everywhere. My son has special needs and he didn’t cope well.
Huge credit to Christo who came straight over with spray and cleaning equipment so we could sleep after a delayed flight. Senior Manager Panayota was exceptional — so polite and understanding. She prepared another room for us to view the next morning and moved us as soon as we were happy.
Reception team were all lovely, especially Christo, Diana, and Anna Maria. We had help with our luggage from more than one member of staff during our stay, and they were all so kind and efficient. In the patisserie, Eva was a gem — always smiling and making delicious pancakes at speed. Georgios in the main buffet was calm and professional even when busy. Lovely talking with him. Driver from the sister hotel who took us to the beach restaurant was very obliging, very altruistic and thoughtful towards my son.
The grounds and rooms are well kept and spacious with a decent balcony. Minibar replenishment every 2 days. Main pool was very busy — maybe smaller pools by individual buildings would help. Indoor pool with jacuzzi, steam and sauna, gym facilities all were kept very clean. Cannot comment on spa/massages as didn’t get the chance to use them. There are other sports facilities and kids club on site, also have an amphitheatre.
As vegetarians we were happy with range of food in all their restaurants. Hot and cold items, veg/non veg, local and international dishes, fresh fruits, salads, pizza, pastas, pastries, cereal, toast, made to order eggs, variety of breads, tea/coffee, soft drinks, beers, wine etc. Nice relaxing drinks in the Aperitif in the evening.
Food labelling could be clearer in the main restaurant. It would also help to have a separate vegetarian section, as guests were using the same serving spoons for meat and non-meat dishes. When we asked the sous chef about meat-free options he was dismissive at first, which was disappointing.
Overall we had a relaxing holiday and would recommend. If you have any issues, speak to staff — they will sort it.
Few souvenir shops across the hotel within walking distance. Journey from the airport in private taxi around an hour. Coach transfers 2 hours. TUI rep was on hand. Good experience with TUI.
