Princess Sun Hotel

We had such a wonderful holiday, and the highlight of our stay was definitely the animation team! They were incredibly friendly, energetic, and made every day so much fun without ever being pushy. There was always something to do, from games and activities to fitness sessions, and they created such a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

The evening shows were absolutely amazing—professional, entertaining, and full of talent. You could really see how much effort and passion the team put into every performance. Each show was different, with fantastic choreography, great costumes, and lots of energy that kept the audience engaged from start to finish.

A huge thank you to the entire animation team (Thibault, Katy, Giovanni, Samuel, Elisea, Manon and Lotta) for making our holiday so memorable. They truly made the experience special, and we would happily come back just to see them again!

We stayed May half term and had an amazing time! Single mum travelling with 2 girls aged 8 and 10. No sun bed wars! You could always get one as long as you didn’t mind round which pool at any time of day. Room was spotless as were all the areas and pools around the hotel. Buffet - always something to eat - I’m vegetarian and my girls enjoyed the fresh pasta everyday and the kids section and the fresh pancakes at breakfast! Desserts are delicious! Evenings - we enjoyed the outside entertainment they brought in - you need to check if it is on at the theatre or pool bar - this is open every night not just for the Greek special restaurant - you can sit on other side and still have drinks and we enjoyed playing cards etc. the Greek special restaurant - you need to book so do so on check in - was lovely for a last night meal! Entertainment during the day was just ramping up when we were there - girls loved the bubble party and the mini club! The buffet at the pool bar during the day was also a hit for my girls. We got a taxi to Lindos and enjoyed shopping. Beach area was perfect and the beach bar there was really good as well although busier as you share this with other hotel. Lots of boat trip options at the beach. We also got the little land train from the beach (costs) and was great way to see the area - there is an aqua park on the sea at one of the train stops. Very relaxed and chilled atmosphere at the hotel which was perfect for us - we would love to go back and would defo recommend!

We have just returned from an amazing stay at Princess Sun Hotel & Spa, and although it's officially a 4-star hotel, we genuinely feel it deserves 5 stars.

From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The rooms were modern, spotlessly clean, and very well maintained. The air conditioning was excellent, which made a huge difference during the hot weather.

One of our family members has coeliac disease, so finding a hotel that caters safely for gluten-free diets is always one of our biggest concerns. Before travelling, we contacted the hotel to let them know, and they couldn't have been more accommodating. We arrived at around 11:00 pm, and despite the late hour, they had sandwiches available for the rest of the family and even prepared a fresh gluten-free roll. It was such a thoughtful touch and immediately made us feel looked after.

Throughout our holiday, the chefs were absolutely fantastic. At every meal, we could speak to a chef who would explain exactly what was safe to eat, what wasn't, and they were always happy to prepare something fresh if there wasn't a suitable option available. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble.

For us, one of the biggest highlights was the pool bar. Usually, when we're on holiday, we have to eat in the main restaurant because that's the only place that can safely cater for gluten-free meals. At Princess Sun, however, the pool bar made fresh gluten-free pizzas with any toppings requested, and the chips were also safe to eat. This meant our family could enjoy relaxed lunches together by the pool without any worries, which was a first for us and made the holiday even more enjoyable.

If I had to mention one small negative, it would be that the ice cream wasn't gluten-free. However, we've found this to be fairly common at many all-inclusive hotels, so it certainly didn't spoil our holiday.

The daytime entertainment was enjoyable, and there was always something going on. The evening children's disco was a little louder than our children preferred, but by then we were usually happy to sit back with a couple of drinks, relax, and play cards.

The on-site supermarket was another pleasant surprise. It's a good size, stocks most essentials if you've forgotten anything, and the prices were very reasonable—especially considering it's the only shop nearby.

The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to the beach, which runs roughly every 30 minutes. Even better, the beach bar is owned by the same hotel group, so all-inclusive guests can enjoy food and drinks there too, making it well worth the trip.

Overall, we honestly couldn't fault our stay. The staff were friendly and hardworking, the hotel was spotless, the food was excellent, and the care shown towards guests with coeliac disease was outstanding. Princess Sun Hotel & Spa has set the standard for what we now hope for from an all-inclusive holiday, and we wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone—especially families travelling with someone who requires a gluten-free diet.

We already can't wait for our next visit to Rhodes! This October we'll be staying at Princess Beach Resort & Spa, and after the incredible experience we've had with Princess Sun, we're really looking forward to it.
