This hotel is located in Kiotari, only some 800 m from the beach and approximately 15 km from Lindos and its famous Acropolis.
The hotel is situated on a small hill, offering excellent views out over the sea and the pine forest. It comprises a total of 214 double and superior rooms, in addition to a lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock, a hotel safe, and lift access. Culinary options include the wonderful Main Sunset restaurant, where guests will enjoy a wide range of delicious dishes. It is also possible to make use of the Diogenis Beach snack restaurant. Further facilities available include a currency exchange facility, both car and motorcycle hire, a supermarket, a kids club where younger guests may let off steam, a laundry service (charges apply), and parking for those arriving by car.
All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with bathtub and hairdryer, centrally regulated air conditioning, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, in-house music channels, a small fridge, a room safe, and either a balcony or terrace. The standard double rooms are fitted with two single beds (which can be connected), and can be supplied on request with an extra bed. Superior rooms feature a double bed in addition to a single bed, which can also be used as a sofa.
Leisure facilities at the hotel include a large pool area with separate children's pool, the Sunrise poolside snack bar, and free sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. Guests may also take advantage of the wide-ranging sports offerings (some for additional charges), including the spa centre, the fully equipped gym, and facilities for playing tennis, table tennis, darts, basketball, and volleyball. Water sports options include banana boating, ring boat riding, water skiing, water polo, canoeing, and pedal boating.
Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages, body treatments and facials. You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 3 outdoor swimming pools, outdoor tennis courts and a health club. Additional features at this Mediterranean property include complimentary wireless Internet access, an arcade/games room and a television in a common area. Getting to the surf and sand is a breeze with the complimentary beach shuttle.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Spotlessly clean hotel with a wonderful staff team which made it home from home. A special thank you to the following staff in particular who are assets of this hotel….. Nikos who talked me through what I could eat that was gluten free every evening that he was on shift. Lovely kind caring man who understood my dietary situation. The Pancake Lady who went above and beyond making my morning pancakes, always cheery and love her designs for the regular pancakes!! Antonios who drives the shuttle bus up and down the beach always cheery and great fun! Fab music too!!! Pool bar pizza man (from Philipines?) who was just so lovely. Most of the hotel staff were warm, friendly and helpful. We loved our stay here…. The beach was gorgeous, our sea view room lovely with a sun rise view. We cannot fault this hotel, we had a great week. My only suggestion would be to clearly label allergens in food. For those of us who need to be careful I think it would be safer, even though Nikos was so helpful, it made me feel guilty taking up his time every night. A big thank you to him. Also be aware this location is quite far away from everything but we enjoyed that! Lovely and peaceful. The food was delicious in the hotel. I recommend the boat trip to Lindos that leaves from nearby beach for a day out. No need to book just turn up! We found it easy walking up and down the hill from hotel to beach at cooler times although the hill is steep. The watersports at beach were great! Sea beautiful and fantastic vibe at the beach club, great music, gorgeous sparrows and we could always get a sunbed (with cushions!) and table for lunch. The shuttle bus service is so reliable. We found the beach really relaxing and went most days. We enjoyed the jaccuzzi on our last day as well! Thank you Princess Sun for a special week.
We had a fab holiday at Princess Sun. The staff were really friendly, especially the entertainment reps. The food is always something I worry about when going abroad as I am vegetarian so I’m often stuck with chips and rice, however there were plenty of options for me and was probably some of the better all inclusive food I’ve had. The drink selection was good. The room was nice and spacious with a lovely sea view. The cleaners came daily to change bedding and towels which was nice. The private beach is nice and shuttles run every half an hour, unfortunately the beach is pebble rather than sand. Although there are water sports available - we hired Jetskis. The spa was nice, me and my friend had a massage, we also used the gym and the sauna - nice and clean. Our only small complaint is the location - it’s about 1hr 40 on a coach to Rhodes Old Town, there’s not much going on round the hotel. We found a nice restaurant called Lythos and a nice bar called Mosa but other than that, we were struggling for things to do in the evening. The hotel is also located at the top of a hill so you get lovely mountain view’s from the hotel, however prepare for the steep walk in the heat! Overall a great experience, and would recommend :)
Just back from 10 days at Princess Sun we have been several times now and have always had a fabulous time , rooms good location all excellent . It was nice to be remembered by staff in restaurant, bar and even the cleaner who were all pleased to see us again. The only disappointment this year was the entertainment team in previous years they spent time around the pool promoting the evening entertainment but also getting to know you and were such good fun , this year only saw team once around the pool and very little time spent getting to know guests other than the young girls That said we did have a great holiday and would certainly recommend the hotel
Room with a gorgeous view of the sea , plenty of room & storage. Food was a good choice plenty to suite everyone, local drinks were fine and a good choice , just one thing they could do with small side tables with the sun beds ! And can I say especially Eleftherios who helped us keep our room on for late check out , & George for supplying us with coffee sachets late at night we're very grateful 🥲. Staff were very friendly and smiling 😊 Great atmosphere All guests seem to be happy. Just a little note it is up a steep bank if you have walking difficulties,hotel does have a shuttle bus but was quite busy.
First time for me and it was amazing. Made to feel really comfortable and relaxed. The atmosphere was so relaxing
