Just back from a 9 night stay here.
Location - make sure you get a private transfer. Takes just under an hour to get to hotel from the airport. The hotel is in a quiet town with a few nice restaurants close by, Mosa & Lythos. Other than that the next town is Lindos, which is approx 20 mins away in a taxi. If you are looking for things outside of a hotel, then this is not the place for you. We mainly stayed in the hotel as it is big and plenty going on.
Atmosphere - lovely hotel, very clean, plenty to eat and drink. Make sure you book the Al a cartes. Our favourite was the Italian and tex mex. lots rave about Moonlight restaurant, of which the food is nice, but I’m afraid the waiter we had was extremely rude and patronising so made our evening rather disappointing. The buffet is quite busy and you get the typical people who can’t dine at a buffet and treat it like a cattle market, but it’s ok. If the hotel didn’t have al a cartes to escape to, then it wouldn’t be great with just the buffet restaurant.
Day entertainment very good, our kids loved it, always some sort of sport activity for them to do. Our kids are older so didn’t need the kids club element.
Evening entertainment can be a bit hit n miss, but you get that at all hotels.
Rooms - nice and spacious. Modern. We overlooked the pool which was nice. Cleaning was a bit hit n miss some days, and unfortunately we had to request towels for 3 or 4 days as the cleaners took dirty towels but didn’t replace them!
This hotel is lovely, and I am pleased I went there. It possibly isn’t a 5* but it is a very good 4* plus.
I would return but there are lots of other places to visit in the world first.
This is not a 5 star holiday. Poolside bar staff are abhorrent selective of who they serve even though people queue. Canteen staff work very hard but mess just puts me off. Management team aggressive. So much better options out there. Would not recommend.
Debbie gave me an excellent massage and she was super professional and competent. I had asked for a deep tissue and she was very strong while being mindful of what my body needed and could bear. I strongly recommend it
First time staying at this hotel and travelling with a child with coeliac disease is always a concern. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough for anyone with food allergies, specifically coeliac requiring gluten free food. The chefs were fantastic, special shout out to Mamuas Kyppaios who went out of his way to make sure our daughter had everything she needed and nothing was ever too much trouble.
Entertainment team also deserve a shout out, they work really hard and always take time to go round and interact with the guests.
Excellent massage with Rieky, fully recommended
