Rodos Maris is a unique resort hotel, built on a vast beach in Kiotari on the southeast coast of Rhodes Island. It is elegant, spacious and luxurious and its picturesque rooms and bungalows are ideal for couples and families who seek high quality in a quiet place. The hotel consists of 428 rooms in main building and bungalows. All of them are fully air-conditioned with individual climate control and equipped with private bathroom and balcony or veranda with a fantastic view. The hotel's main restaurant specializes in Greek and international cuisine. The children's restaurant offers a variety of food, salads, pastries, ice-cream etc., supervised by qualified pedagogic personnel.

Not a 5 star hotel !
I stayed at this hotel for 10 days. It is definitely not a 5-star hotel; in my opinion, it deserves no more than 3 stars because of the old furniture and outdated bathroom. The shower head kept falling off, and the bathroom door was old as well.
We had a sea view room in the main building, but it was very noisy due to the air conditioning units and other hotel systems, making it difficult to sleep peacefully at night.
The food was tasty, and that was the only outstanding thing about this hotel.
(DO NOT STAY) 3* Accomdation at best
While our recent stay had a few highlights, the overall experience did not justify the five-star premium we paid. Upon arrival, our air conditioning failed to function, which required a room change. Furthermore, we noticed a small number of ants inside the guest room that we got tranfered to. The accommodations themselves are severely outdated and do not meet luxury standards. Had this property been advertised as an honest three- or four-star hotel, our expectations would have been met. However, charging five-star prices for three-star accommodations is unacceptable. The culinary offerings were inconsistent. While the main buffet was highly disappointing, the beachside dining options—specifically the crepes, gyros, and pizza—were excellent, and the beverage selection was quite good. On a positive note, the hotel's entertainment programme was actually quite good and provided enjoyable evening activities. The absolute highlight of our stay was the exceptional service from one of the housekeeping staff members. After we left her a well-deserved gratuity, my fiancée and I returned to our room to find beautiful, intricate towel sculptures, including hearts and swans, crafted on our bed. Despite her wonderful hospitality and the good entertainment, the structural and room shortcomings mean I cannot recommend this hotel to future travellers looking for a true luxury experience.

We recently stayed at Mitsis Rodos Maris Resort & Spa as a group of 20 people, and we would like to express our appreciation on behalf of our entire group for the wonderful experience we had.
A very special thank you goes to Athina Daramara, Front Office Manager, who was absolutely exceptional throughout our stay. Coordinating the needs of a group of 20 people is not always easy, but Athina handled everything with remarkable professionalism, patience, and kindness.
She helped us with restaurant reservations, arranged a late check-out, and was always available whenever we needed information or assistance. No matter what we asked, she was incredibly helpful, attentive, and welcoming, always making sure that everything was taken care of.
What impressed us most was her genuine desire to make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Her warmth, efficiency, and dedication made a real difference to our holiday.
On behalf of all 20 of us, thank you, Athina, for taking such wonderful care of our group! You are truly an asset to Mitsis Rodos Maris, and your hospitality is one of the reasons we will remember this holiday so fondly.

Hotel and Animation team review
We have been at this hotel for almost 2 weeks, cannot fault the hotel but what has made the hotel is the animation team. They have been AMAZING! Alex, Evalina, Adel, Louwan, C, Dany, Nicole, Vivi and Emilie, they have been incredible. We have laughed so much! The kids love them and we do too! Thank you for making our holiday!!
Horribly disappointed
I have never written a review before but felt needed to share.
Main issue is the overcrowding and lack of shade/sun-umbrellas. I have been jealous of the people found some shade by sitting by the bins. Only way to solve is to join the madness and set an alarm to get chairs by 8 am. This was not like this on other mitsis holidays when I could always find something.
The bars/restaurants on beach have barely shade at all. Have had them running out of ice and mixers several times this week. Often not fizzy either. Most of the tables are in the direct sun. It seems ridiculous lack of planning. I can see people prowling with their bags trying to find somewhere so not optimistic at all. I’m guessing someone has complained as are scummy looking beach beanbags but without shade looks unappealing. All things close at 6pm.
Rooms are not great either- only one beside lamp, shower head broken (can’t be fixed) and sink not draining so far. Other family members have had repeated issues with aircon and insects. Old fashioned keys and only one that allows electricity to be turned on to rooms so not ideal for sharing.
Staff seem generally unhappy and glum. Seem reluctant to help.
Such long queues at the main restaurant. Often puts me off waiting for food. Have tried a few different timings. Long waits for water to be filled and never managed my wine glass to be filled more than once. Much less selection/smaller than other mitsis and repetitive. The al la carte restaurants seem fine though.
Not eaten at the pancake place. Get a takeaway bag. Family say okay but not the same as the lovely plated waffles etc at other mitsis ones. Remember served at tables in other mitsis and felt like a proper treat. Again have had them queuing for up to 45 minutes for one and at least 10 people waiting whenever I pass.
I have stayed at mitsis several times before but this is the worst.
