Lindos Breeze Beach Hotel

We stayed at the Lindos Breeze Hotel, which is partnered with the Lindos Imperial Hotel, from 26 September to 3 October 2026. It was just my partner and me, so we weren’t travelling with children (although there were lots of families with children here).

I’d say we had a mixed experience, but hopefully this review will help others decide whether Lindos Breeze is the right choice for them.

Positives

1. Location of the room: We stayed in room 6255, which is right next to reception. This meant the walk over to the Lindos Imperial was short, taking only a few minutes.
2. Room facilities: The room was functional, with everything you’d expect, including a fridge and TV.
3. Cleanliness on arrival: The room was clean when we arrived, and we had a lovely view.
4. Welcome gifts: We were greeted with a fruit basket and a bottle of red wine in our room, which was a nice touch.
5. Staff: All the staff were absolutely lovely, and I have no criticism of them whatsoever. They really made you feel like part of the family and they made the experience much better. I have nothing but good words to say about the staff.
6. Speciality restaurants: The speciality restaurants were excellent. We tried the Asian, Italian and Greek restaurants. I would definitely return to the Asian and Greek restaurants. The Italian was nice too, although the service was a little slow.

Negatives

1. Lack of privacy: Our room was directly next to reception, with the road running straight across from us. This meant the room felt a little exposed and lacked privacy.
2. The room didn’t feel five-star: This was probably my biggest disappointment. The shower (see photos) looked quite grubby, and there was an old wasp’s nest on the balcony. These might seem like small things, but they aren’t what you’d expect from a five-star hotel. Overall the bathroom was industrial, concrete and it felt very unfinished.
3. No bathrobes: Despite the website stating that bathrobes are provided in the rooms, we didn’t have any.
4. No toilets by the pool: There are no toilets by the pool at Lindos Breeze, meaning you have to walk back to your room or head to reception. This is particularly inconvenient when you’re spending the day by the pool.
5. Limited bar opening hours: The only bar at Lindos Breeze closes at 6 pm, which is quite frustrating, particularly if you want to stay around the pool later in the afternoon.
6. Paper cups at the pool bar: The pool bar at Lindos Breeze serves drinks in paper cups only. These quickly become soggy, which isn’t ideal when you’re relaxing by the pool. By comparison, the Lindos Imperial serves drinks in plastic cups around its pool areas.
7. Limited things to do nearby: There isn’t really much in the immediate surrounding area, so you’ll need to travel if you want to explore beyond the resort.
8. Restaurant bookings: As a Lindos Breeze guest, rather than a Lindos Imperial guest, you don’t get access to the app to book restaurants. Instead, you have to arrange everything through reception, which feels unnecessarily inconvenient.
9. The layout of the Lindos Imperial: The resort map is quite misleading, and navigating the grounds can be difficult. The activity pool, for example, is up a fairly steep hill, and the route isn’t particularly well lit. This is worth bearing in mind if you have mobility issues or simply don’t fancy walking up and down hills throughout the day.

Overall verdict

Overall, I don’t think I’d return to Lindos Breeze. Although we enjoyed parts of our stay, some aspects didn’t live up to the five-star experience we were expecting.

If I were to return to the resort, I’d book the Lindos Imperial directly instead. I think this would be a better option for us and would avoid some of the inconveniences we experienced as Lindos Breeze guests.

A few handy tips

If you’re planning a trip, here are a couple of things we did that might be useful:

• Boat trips: Rather than booking one of the more expensive organised boat trips, you can use the Lindos boat service for €20 per person return.
• Hire your own boat: We also hired our own boat from Kiotari Watersports on the beach, which was excellent. It cost €180 for three hours, and we really enjoyed having the freedom to explore at our own pace.

Hopefully, this helps anyone considering Lindos Breeze. We had some lovely moments during our stay, but for us, the Lindos Imperial would be the better choice if we were to visit again.

Lindos Breeze is a very nice hotel with kind and helpful staff. We were very satiafied with our stay. The room was spacious, cleaned every day, with a nice view on the garden, pool and a side view of the sea. The bathroom was OK, however the water from the shower flooded the bathroom and we had a leak from the ceiling. The hotel is connected with the Lindos Imperial resort and we could access all the facilities of Lindos Imperial (restarants, bars, pools, animations). The food was tasty and good quality, the breakfast was similar everyday, but lunch and diner were variated. We were allowed to use restaurants à la carte two times during our stay. We could walk to the sea through the hotel complex which took about 5 minutes, there were free sunbeds on the beach. A public bus stop was located just outside the hotel. We had a lovely family vacation with our baby.

Lindos Breeze is a small, quiet hotel very close to the sea. The biggest advantage is access to Lindos Imperial, where most of the facilities, restaurants and entertainment are located.

The highlights: the amazing animation team, concerts and evening shows at Lindos Imperial. My favourite place was the Beach Pool — great atmosphere, music and very friendly bartenders, with the bar open until 1 a.m. Swimming in the warm October sea was also one of the best parts of my holiday.

The astrology workshop was an unexpected highlight and honestly exceeded all my expectations. I have never experienced anything like this at a seaside hotel before — a really original and memorable activity.

Food: the main restaurant (Lindos Imperial) offers a buffet five times a day with plenty of choice. The à la carte restaurants were excellent — I visited three and really enjoyed them.

The room was clean and very well maintained, with water, fruit and wine regularly provided. However, it was quite dark, required going down three flights of stairs, and despite being advertised with a side sea view, mine faced the garden. The leaking shower was another issue.

One of the biggest inconveniences was the reservation system. At Lindos Imperial, guests could use an app to see activities and make reservations themselves. At Lindos Breeze, almost everything had to be arranged through the administrator. This was significantly less convenient and sometimes meant waiting for him to become available.

I also understand and appreciate the administrator, especially as he was handling many responsibilities alone at the end of the season. However, during conversations with guests who were unhappy about their rooms or other issues, it was sometimes noticeable that his patience was running low. I believe this is primarily an organisation and staffing issue, but for a property presented as 5-star, maintaining a consistently calm and professional level of guest service is particularly important.

The SPA also requires advance booking, and the staff seemed rather unmotivated, which did not create the atmosphere I would expect from a 5-star property.

The beach is very close and the sea was beautiful and warm, but the beach itself needs improvement: the sunbeds and umbrellas are quite worn and the entrance to the sea is very rocky, so water shoes are recommended.

Tips: Download the Lindos Imperial app and check the entertainment schedule on arrival. Consider the Lindos Boat for visiting Lindos, especially outside the high season. And definitely visit Prasonisi and the island of Symi — both are unforgettable.

Overall: Lindos Imperial offers a great holiday experience, but Lindos Breeze itself, in my opinion, does not quite meet a 5-star standard. I would recommend booking it with a clear understanding that it is a smaller property benefiting from the facilities of Lindos Imperial.
