⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3/5)
We recently stayed at Kiotari Miraluna Beach Resort and, overall, I’d describe it as an average all-inclusive experience. We still managed to enjoy our holiday, but there were several areas that really need improving.
The biggest issue was the air conditioning. It struggled to keep the rooms cool, and the restaurants were also uncomfortably warm during meal times. In the summer heat, this made eating indoors quite unpleasant.
The WiFi throughout the resort was unreliable, and mobile phone signal was poor, so staying connected wasn’t easy.
The food was exactly what you’d expect from a typical all-inclusive buffet – plenty of choice, but nothing particularly memorable. Drinks were another disappointment, especially the soft drinks. The Pepsi and other fizzy drinks seemed to have little or no carbonation, which wasn’t very enjoyable.
Meal times could also be frustrating as finding a table was often difficult, particularly during the busiest periods. It felt like the resort wasn’t quite equipped for the number of guests staying there.
Our room was in need of refurbishment. There were several maintenance issues, including four broken floor tiles, and various fixtures and fittings were showing their age. We also had ants in the room throughout our stay, which was disappointing.
One thing worth mentioning is that the majority of guests were German, Polish and Russian. That’s obviously not a criticism in itself, but English didn’t seem to be the main language spoken around the resort, which may be useful for British travellers to know.
The beach bar was another let-down. Despite charging extra, it didn’t appear to offer anything different from the drinks and food already included in the all-inclusive package, so it didn’t feel worthwhile.
Finally, the resort is very isolated. If you like exploring the local area, be aware that there isn’t much within easy walking distance, so you’re largely confined to the resort unless you arrange transport.
Overall, we had a pleasant enough holiday, but there are several areas that need attention before we’d consider returning. With improvements to the rooms, air conditioning, WiFi, and dining experience, it could be a much better resort.
Close to the hotel, wonderful location, relaxing atmosphere, quite massage rooms, sauna, good value for the money, clean and quiet, good opportunity to relax ant take time off, service at the he reception and treatment by therapist are excellent. Shower and wc facilities are very clean but already quite old and would enjoy some renovation.
Maybe my expectations are unrealistic. We upgraded to a room with a shared pool. Thank goodness we did as the chances of getting a sunbed by the public pools are impossible. Food was plentiful, but quality was not great. The restaurant had theme nights, not sure anyone on the catering team had ever had an Indian. Pizzas and Gyros down by the kids pool at lunchtime were the highlight. All inclusive drinks were the most limited I have ever come across, 4 cocktails, no local versions of Baileys or Ametetto. The room was tired and needed a revamp, curtains were hanging off the rails. If you have mobility issues beware there are lots of steps and slopes, some of the slopes were very steep. The hotel has a golf buggy which when available they will take you to your room. No bars or restaurants in walking distance, the hotel is very remote. Staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. We booked with TUI which advertised the price we paid as including a 30 percent reduction, if I had paid full price my score would have been 1 out of 5.
Lets start with the saving grace of this place and its the only one Hans you were a joy. That's where the good stuff stops. Tired hotel defiantly not a 4 star, maybe a 3 ish star . The rooms were grubby and dusty and we had a problem with ants. Arrived at 2 am were shown to our room and they hadnot made up the sofa bed for my son, we had to do this ourselves. The morning light brought a whole set of other issues, tiles missing from the pool area which resulted in my son cutting his foot. Staff and the manager have a serious attitude problem(apart from Hans) and think that they are providing a wonderful service. They are also scamming the guests by ordering taxis and giving a price when if you call a local firm its 20 to 30 euro cheaper. One curtain in the room meant we couldn't get changed without going in the bathroom. Entertainment was all in German and although we thought that was ok it meant my son and grandaughter couldnt use the kids club as they barely spoke english
I had an amazing massage with Krisa. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and completely at ease. Krisa was professional, attentive, and made sure the massage was tailored to exactly what my body needed. The pressure was perfect, and I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and free of tension.
I highly recommend Krisa to anyone looking for a skilled and caring massage therapist.
