Located right on Ialyssos Beach, the all-inclusive D’Andrea Mare Beach Hotel features free-form pools with waterslides and a lazy river. The complex includes a main restaurant, a bar, a poolside bar and a snack bar, as well as wellness center with steam bath. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Opening to a balcony, all modernly decorated units offer air conditioning, satellite TV and fridge. The private bathroom is fitted with a bathtub, free toiletries and hairdryer. Some accommodations types at D’Andrea Mare overlook the Aegean Sea. Enjoying pool views, the restaurant prepares Greek and international dishes in buffet style. Cold and hot snacks, including ice cream are offered at the poolside snack bar. In the evening, the main bar serves locally produced drinks and cocktails. At the wellness center, guests can find an indoor pool, sauna, hot tub and fully equipped gym. A mini market, billiards and beach volley court is provided within the premises. For younger visitors, D’Andrea Mare offers a children’s pool, playground and animation team. The 24-hour staff at D’Andrea Mare Beach Hotel can arrange car rental to explore the island. The complex is located 3. 4 mi from Diagoras International Airport and 5. 9 mi from Rhodes Town. Free private parking is possible on site.
An excellent place to spend a holidaytime at this four star resort. The food was tasty and plentiful. Different theme at the buffet every evening. Qiuet room with a sea view, lovely to listen sounds of the sea. Housekeeping did a fantastic job, so clean. A short wall to the neighboring village. The enterteinment group with finnish girl was great, nice to chatting at own language. That was extra fun for us. We will certainly come back.
For us, this hotel was a huge disappointment. We booked a Sea View Suite, 8 months before we went. We were allocated room 116, a ground floor pool view and the sea is hardly visible and shouldn’t be advertised as a sea view. This is not a relaxing, quiet hotel. It is under the flight path, (planes are 500 feet), 90’s euro pop music is blasted out at the pool area and it is difficult to find a quiet spot. Pools looks nice and has a lifeguard. Sunbeds should be in a museum so need updating. Rooms are clean and all in working order but not soundproofed as advertised, (bit of a ridiculous claim). We had a fridge, safe, kettle and tea and coffee sachets. Housekeeping do a good job and you receive 2 small water bottles, but if you don’t have your room serviced then you don’t receive the water. The area which the hotel is situated quite frankly, a dump, litter and graffiti and derelict buildings. So onto the restaurant, the staff turn over the tables quickly so you will always find somewhere to sit. The food choice looks good, a wide choice and colourful……however we were both ill with diarrhoea and vomiting on 2 separate occasions and we had only ate in the hotel, we lost all confidence in the restaurant hygiene and started to buy stuff from the supermarket. The all inclusive drinks…..we found the beer ok, but the wine out of the self service tap isn’t great, and the spirits were absolutely disgusting and not identifiable what you were drinking! All we wanted from this holiday was a clear sea view room and safe food to eat without being ill and a quiet place to read and chill, we got none of this so I would not go back to this hotel or recommend it.
We had a lovely holiday at D’Andrea Mare and there were definitely some things we really enjoyed about the hotel.
The positives: The hotel was very clean, and our room was kept exceptionally clean throughout our stay. We also appreciated the fresh bottles of water provided every day. The food was very good, with plenty of choice, and we never struggled to find something we enjoyed. The views from the hotel were amazing, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming.
The negatives: Unfortunately, the drinks were a real disappointment. The spirits served at the bar didn’t taste good at all and, at times, we honestly weren’t sure what we were drinking. There was also no option to pay extra for premium spirits, which would have been a nice choice. Even the beer wasn’t great and tasted as though it had been watered down with soda.
The other major disappointment was the sun loungers around the pool. They were very old and uncomfortable, and unfortunately this did affect our holiday. When you’re on holiday, being able to relax around the pool is a big part of the experience, and we found it difficult to do that comfortably.
Overall: D’Andrea Mare is a nice, clean hotel with friendly staff, good food and amazing views. However, the poor quality of the drinks and, particularly, the old and uncomfortable sun loungers really let it down for us. Sadly, these are the two things that would stop us from returning.
We had a wonderful experience, and a big part of it was thanks to the fantastic staff.
A special thank you to Marta and Niko at the pool bar. They were always friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. Their excellent service and positive attitude really made a difference.
We would also like to thank Mohammed from the restaurant service. He was professional, polite, and always made sure we were well looked after. His attention to detail and friendly manner made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

Definitely recommend this lovely hotel , the staff are so welcoming and friendly , they also love to have a laugh with you , it’s so clean and well looked after , the food is also amazing , probably the best all inclusive food we have had. The pool bar staff will make sure you’re always hydrated, and will make your drink to your expectations. The rooms are always clean and well maintained, had no issues whatsoever. Always stocked up with water and fresh towels. Your always guaranteed a sunbed whether that’s around the pool area or on the beach. The spa and indoor pool is amazing, very relaxing and offer massages too. It’s very suitable for kids with entertainment on every night and making sure kids feel welcome to get involved. The receptionists are very helpful with, information about the surrounding areas, and any queries about your stay that you need to know. This lovely hotel is definitely at the top of my lists of places to come back to, I couldn’t recommend enough. A 10/10 rating just isn’t enough for how amazing this place is!
